Hey guys, wanted to thank you all for being so helpful with my quest to get a Reisen fumo after missing out. I checked out zenmarket, yahoo auctions, Mercari, and all that jazz waiting for a cheap one-- I'm glad I waited because I refreshed Amiami this morning and it seems Reisen and Tewi are both back today! I snagged my Reisen and the other three girls while I was at it. My shipping cost was ridiculous... I had two orders, and I decided to try one with EMS and one with DHL. I couldn't choose the cheapest ones because I'm moving in two months and I was scared they wouldn't get here in time. EMS was ordered back in February, they only finally shipped it after TWO WEEKS and no tracking number. That cost 40$ USD, still hasn't arrived. The DHL order was one I placed March 2nd, and it cost 65$ USD for shipping and got here yesterday, so a total of only five days from placing the order to the package arriving.

Honestly, the shipping prices are fucking disgusting. It's ridiculous that it costs more than the actual fumos to ship it. At least when I order my knockoffs on ebay, shipping is either free or max 5-10$. And it is definitely annoying they don't give you an estimate for how much it'll cost to ship, I don't see any reason why they can't do that.

How do you people do it? Some of the best fumo shots to get are pretty much in the outdoors. Problem with that is the presence of people. I don't think it's an anxiety thing but I become way too self conscious of the people around me which prevents me from taking out both my camera and a fumo and getting the intended shots I wanted to get. I've had several times when I really wanted to take a cool shot and didn't because there were people, only to regret it later. I've also had plenty of times when I'd hide my fumos anytime someone passed by (I'd spend like 10 minutes sitting there taking them in and out of my bad). In the end I think life is too short to care and most people will have forgotten about you in about 30 seconds. Hello fellow Fumo friends. For space and money reasons I'm looking to sell most of my Fumo (and some other plushes) but I'm unsure of what to do for pricing. They're all 1.5s. Are the guides prices way off or is it still still pretty accurate. I don't want to rip anyone off or get ripped off myself.
Also a 2nd question. When shipping them should I using packing paper or anything or is just putting them in a plastic bag (with no packing) so they don't get dirty good enough? I've never shipped plushes before.

I know I'm a bit late replying, but I go out with Tei all the time and occasionally Yuyuko. At least multiple times a week. Nobody questions them or looks at me strangely, because I'm generally a friendly person and act natural with the fumos. I actually get compliments sometimes from random people telling me they like my doll! As long as you own it and don't act awkward, I don't think anyone will look twice at you.
