I am a long way off from n5 and I've been doing a solid 2 hours of study a day, more on weekends. Been about 3 months now. I've started picking up sentences here and they're if they're simple enough and kanji aren't the demon I once thought they were. For this point does anyone have specific advice that might help? I would like to pick up the pace somehow but going to 4 hour sessions had seemingly no benefit over 2.

Beginner-ish anon here
Trying to translate a piece, the speech I completely understand, but I am a little lost when it comes to the sound effects.
They are the following:
とぷ
にちゃ。。。
For とぷ I can't seem to find any leads online, and for にちゃ。。。 it kinda sounds like it could form into にちゃた which I believe in this context would be "I came"
