Hey iRage, how exactly do you achieve those thick lines when you trace the images? Whatever I'm doing on the pen tool, it doesn't seem to get me something like that, just a bunch of vector masks. How do you add in your details such as shadows too?

I'm not really vectoring, as I couldn't make the images any bigger without a loss of quality.

As for the colors, my lineart is a group above my colors.

I added a stitched screenshot of the layers of the kohaku pic, it might make what I'm saying more clear.

Do you usually do coloring first, or line art first?

I'm attempting to vector this picture as a first. Not really sure how I'm gonna try to go about with it, but I do want to have the same sort of thick brush that you used too.
