Kana still just represent the alphabet to me and I subconsciously try to equate and interpret the two as such. For listening practice, should I be looking up vocab words I don't recognize any time they come up, or is it still effective to just listen and hope that my brain will just sponge up information? I know about Japanese having no distinction between ra/ri/ro/re and la/li/lo/le but shit like the "Bal" sign here just doesn't make sense. They had to have seen the word "bar" spelled out in Latin letters before, how are they getting it mixed up? It's not like a foreign proper name where they might only have seen it in katakana before and have no way to guess what the Latin transcription might be for certain. I saw through the camera he was wearing a full Meiji drink delivery outfit and carrying boxes of Meiji products. So, I thought he was a deliveryman who got the wrong address.
I opened the door, with the chain still on the door and told him we didn't order any Meiji products. He then started to explain he was giving away samples of Meiji products to try. I said, no thank you (iie kekko desu) . But he persisted to keep pushing them on me. So I said I don't want to drink your products and started to close the door. He stuck his foot in the door trying to give me another sales pitch and I yelled at him in Japanese "What are you doing? I'm calling the police!" So he pulled out his foot and I slammed the door.
After a while, when I thought he left, I went outside my door, only to find he left a box of Meiji products I didn't want (milk, yogurt, some other products) along with sales brochures. Now I'm pissed because he left a bunch of unwanted crap in front of my door that I have to throw out. And I'm sure he will come back to ask if we drank it. I don't want to bring it inside, but I don't want to leave it out in front of my condo door until the next garbage day.
Anybody else had to deal with this kind of thing?

Is there a list/website or something where I can look up a kanji and it lists ones with similar radicals and related meanings? For example: 頭 - 顔, 額 (ひたい), 頬, 顎. Which all have the radical 頁, and are related to the face; unlike stuff like 頃 or 順.

Jisho lets me search radicals but that means having to look up every kanji in order to make my own list. Hasn't someone already done that?

Maybe you picked the wrong example, but almost any kanji with 頁 *does* have something to do with the head, even if only figuratively. If you want thing sorted by radical, you’d be best served by just going through their basic definitions one-by-one.

A character reference like 漢字源 often provides characters in related word families, though, so you might find that helpful. Per your counterexample of 順k it lists the related 循、巡、遁 and 馴, all closely related in meaning, and sharing a reading.

Yeah it's mostly about separating the cases where a certain radical is more 'literal & important' for the definition or not, but I guess it means taking the other radicals into account as well so you can't really boil it down to individual ones. But thanks for the resource, seems useful.
