Fujiwara no Mokou's backstory, starting at her youth before Kaguya Houraisan came into the picture. The story would be written from Mokou's point of view, with the climax approaching as she realized Kaguya has left beyond her reach toward the moon, and then reaching its peak just as she wakes up with Iwakasa surrounded by blood, charred men, and Princess Iwanaga (Sakuya). And again as she makes a last second decision to kill Iwakasa on a whim without even realizing it until she killed him, and drinking the Hourai Elixir to become immortal. The story would follow Mokou as she tries to return to a normal life, being ostracized, and and regretting her decision so much she wished she could die. Then going crazy and then bored before reuniting with Kaguya. Then there would be part 2, where she would fight with Kaguya in epic duels. Things would fast forward to modern days. She makes a friend (Keine) who gives her the idea of using the strength & knowledge she gained when she fought youkai (and Kaguya) years ago to escort humans through the Bamboo Forest of Lost. Mokou has grown tired of Kaguya (but relieved she is still on Earth). Kaguya still tries to kill her, much to her annoyance (Kaguya treats it much more like a game, Mokou more or less feels demotivated and tired of it all). Then Imperishable Night happens. She eventually reunites with Kaguya, and more or less makes up with her, realizing just how much she depends on her and how alone she really is without her. Things get more lighthearted after the events of Cage in a Lunatic Runagate chapter 4. She opens up a little more, and eventually befriends Sumireko and Mamizou Futatsuiwa.

A fan game for sure.

I think someone should animate bunch of existed Touhou doujins desu.
Also all the existing Touhou anime always try to be "faithful" or keep certain vibe of the original but at the same time they definitely use a lot of liberties, yet still too preserved about it.
Fanime won't be canon no matter what, so I say they should embrace its nature as fanwork and use more liberties like how they do it with doujin manga: make a slapstick comedy Touhou anime, Touhou AU, or hell make a grimdark Touhou anime. Use whatever plot and story elements that doesn't exist in the original.
It's fanime. Don't try to pass it off as part of canon. They do however gotta encourage people to play or read the canon material somehow.

If no limit was presented on money, time, skill, and material, then a Touhou fangame.

AI voice generation with the same in-depth level of weaponized autism that was the Elder Scrolls Morrowind for story and playstyle.

The ability to marry your Hu and have as much conservative childmaking or raunchy debauchery as you could possibly imagine.
