So, it's been a month since I graduated college and I'm still a fucking NEET living at home. Should have never majored in Japanese.

Anyway, you think I can put on the stuff I've translated on my resume? Or is that not good enough because I wasn't paid?

Yes, you can put volunteer stuff on your resumes. Make sure to put it under the header "Volunteer Projects" or something, so they don't think that you simply weren't being paid. You should still be able to hit up your college and talk to their career center to help you build a half-decent resume.

I don't have to worry about anything, so is perfect to think about things I would not if I was too busy working or studying.

OP, if you're willing to translate stuff like eroge, then do a commissions based scheme.

first, translate a few doujins that you like and post em, this is basically saying "this is the quality of my translation work, have a look"

then have a comissions thing, like 50c a page, they supply the raws, or something.

its not much, but its a start.
if you want long term employment, then probably dont go the way of eroge, unless you're looking for employment from someone like mangagamer.

volunteer at comunity classes teaching Japanese if you hit the bottom of the barrel, because that will set you ahead once you look for a job again.
