My theory is that the new F/GO chapters are a way of giving Nasu more time to work on the Far Side Remake and/or the ending of part 2 of the gacha.
I think it's clear they are gonna be filler chapters since the whole "extra classes bad" shit came out of nowhere and wasn't foreshadowed for a long time like most important F/GO plotlines.
Also Nasu said in an interview that he rewrote LB6 because there weren't enough answers leading to the finale, and now we know that the finale is still far away.
Nasu probably wanted to take a year or two (or three) to work on other stuff while the other writers find a way to stall the plot, like with the EoR chapters. Let's hope this means we're getting the Far Side remake in our lifetime.

Bear in mind even Blue Glass didn't start it's production until, what, 2018? It only took 3 years to be finished from there. In any case, from the single hour they spent talking, she actually managed to figure him out, and said enough to prove it. So whatever it is, we can assume she knows it. Maybe it's just a case of the two of them having their fates defined by Aoko, maybe it's the fact that the two of them are meant to live while dead. (Touko in puppet bodies and Souji in a ressurected state)(and like Touko herself said, maybe they are just picky about the same foods)
Though, that's just my opinion, I'll leave any decisive decisions to the others who can probably interpret this better than me.

In Akiha's route, Ciel was 100% okay with the possibility of SHIKI killing everyone and her just swooping in afterwards to take care of the rest. Her interventions are mostly just to save Shiki, but she deliberately doesn't take an active role. Obviously, if you were more cordial with a person, you wouldn't be so hands off if their life is in danger like that.

Only 6 and 7 really imo. And I think 7 is better on that front. Oberon was good too. Even then I agree about screwing them over through flanderization.
