Souji is far more nuanced and more engaging than Shirou ever is. His plight to understand human nature and if he’ll ever find a home again in a new big city is far more compelling and relatable than anything Shirou does. His talk with Aoko during chapter 13 is beautiful and his lack of will to keep going is more believable than Shirou’s character. I love Souji and tolerate him way more than Shirou. Shirou is legitimately awful during the first half of the Fate route. Souji already had me hooked to his character during chapter 1.5 part 4 with him cleaning the windows and struggling to survive in a new environment. It’s not about how much an author writes that makes a character compelling or not. It’s the quality of the writing.

Yup. The city a character and an ambiguous mix of different people and different stories like a finely woven tapestry was amazing. The 8.5 bridge talk that Souji has also enhances his character and his struggle to understand human nature and how the city truly is a tragic place that has people living in despair by themselves in one place while another can have a happy family. The city is a living and breathing place with many different stories that it’s a miracle that it all keeps going so well. People they try to tear down Mahoyo should at least give it its props and build it up instead of being so negative. It’s easy to hate something, it’s far more difficult to analyze a work that you don’t know by the back of your hand like with F/SN.

If it was as simple as “Core given human form and consciousness”, wouldn’t she have just gone IMMEDIATELY back to raping everyone? The thing is, she didn’t. Because at the end, she was born as a goddess to them, and acted as such.

She is terrified, yes, but that’s because she knows what she is. She is ORT, that is undeniable, but she is also Kuku. She is afraid that she would one day become the ORT that killed everyone, but at the end, she couldn’t. Because she is not that emotionless core, she is the goddess.
While someone pointed that my Roa analogy was wrong, that’s why I said “kind of”, there’s no awakening or whatever, but just like all of Roa’s hosts (Ciel and SHIKI, for example) are Roa from the moment they are born, something written down in their very souls, they are still their own people with their own bodies, and the same is true for Kuku, from the moment she is born she is ORT, but she is also a goddess born into something by the will of people.

Actually KT Arc mentions the opposite and since they're probably all part of the same compiled event that could open up some interesting Tsukiverse multiverse stuff.
