At worst the shipgirls just might lose their powers, so far.
The lack of 3d animation for such overdesigned characters was always going to be a problem. But, hey, who cares if the animation is lackluster, at least it has no 3d... Speaking of visual problems, much like other adaptations of Kancolle season 2 seems to be taking various game elements too literally, like many abyssals being much larger than official artwork implies they are, like in the Arcade.

How do you even watch the series and arrive into the conclusion that the way Itsu Umi uses its setting means nothing, retard? The intention is to be more historical and nearly everything in the series plays to this setting. Even the way it sends boats home in bandages correlates somewhat close to real Surigao, so even when the boats "win" they arrive at functional loss in narrative. And considering this, it's objectively less of a stretch to do what the anime did instead of your shitty headcanon just because it's something you personally wanted to see. You're not making any rational points here and your post devolved to basically nothing at all.
