Every time I fight her, I do fine until she focuses, and then I try to kill her as fast as possible, but I can never make it in time, and she always blows me away with Master Spark ;_;

There's not really much to say, since you can get her to the focus stage.
Bring stronger characters, or make sure all of them are fully buffed around the time you think she'll cast focus. Other than that, the only thing you can do is grind more to raise their levels.

So you can get Utsuho? I have to get back into this game, never got that far but it is fun. Not as good as Etrian Odyssey though.

I have windows 7 and it runs the game just fine. Make sure that none of the game folders have any Japanese characters in them. If they do, rename them into English. This usually solves the black screen problem.

Explore the entire first floor as much as you can, then return to Gensokyo and finish leveling up your characters and giving them appropriate bonuses, and then you should be able to handle Meiling. Maybe.

Got Reimu to 420, and now I'm going to bed.
For the people who just started, when you get stuck at Alice (not if, when), grind some more, then when you fight her kill the healing doll first if you can, otherwise use aoe attacks so that the doll is concentrated on Alice and not the other two, allowing you to kill them. Once you kill all of the dolls, Alice is going to go batshit on you, so kill her ASAP after the last doll. You should probably save Marisa in the back and master spark her after you kill the doll.

This is how I did it the first time, except somehow the second time I accidentally the other two dolls before I defeated the healing doll. So no one needs to think it's GAME OVER if they can't kill the healing doll right away.

It's a good fight for Wriggle, by the way. Use AOE poison, then single target poison on Alice. It makes a difference for me, at least.
