It's not mentioned in the Ten Desire profiles (so it's not canon), but in the Chinese story (Qing'e), she not only had kids as a human, but she kept making more as an immortal.
Her Touhou lore deviates pretty heavily from the later half of her origin story, so that last part can probably be ignored, but as a married woman, she's realistically a mother, unless she escaped her marriage much faster in 2hu than in the Chinese original.

Whether she had kids of not in Touhou is purely in the realm of headcanon.
Besides, the children she had are likely all dead. They'll only be present through the mark they left on the world - most notably, the marks they left on their mother.
Perhaps Seiga uses some the things she learned while raising children in her interactions with Yoshika. Or perhaps even the younglings in the village. If you're not even a few hundred years old, why should you be treated as an adult?

I like to imagine they were close friends but Seiga was so devastated by Yoshika's untimely death that she tried to bring her back to life the only way she knew how. Unfortunately the process wasn't perfect and she returned with little to nothing of the person she was in life. Seiga couldn't bring herself to undo it and let her rest again because Yoshika still showed the occasional glimmer of the person she used to be which served to remind her of the all the time they spent together.

Even though Seiga has to treat Yoshika like a child because that is more or less what she has been reduced to, she still thinks of her fondly. Seiga probably watches her hop round with a bit of sadness, remembering the sophisticated poet that she was in life. Despite the fondness she feels towards the person Yoshika once was, that fondness slowly corrupted over the years and now she views her more as a personal possession than a person. An unliving piece of memorabilia to remind her of a loved one.

We share similar fanons. I like the idea that Yoshika is Seiga's pet project but seeing her fills Seiga with some mixture of melancholy, resentment and pride. Seiga knows exactly how Yoshika's reanimation works and is certain she's not the friend she once was but it hurts to acknowledge it. At the same time she also put a lot of work, study and resources into Yoshika's resurrection and upkeep. Her memories of Yoshika the friend become buried deeper as she spends more time with Yoshika the tool. Sometimes she remembers who Yoshika once was.

Then I like mixing it with that one doujin where Futo temporarily inhabits Yoshika's body and learns Yoshika still has some semblance of her old memories, including of Seiga.

I'd like to imagine it was someone so different from Yoshika the jiang shi that no one other than Seiga would ever be able to connect those dots. Maybe someone who was Seiga's equal once upon a time. Someone who could match her in intelligence and wit who might have even pursued the path of a hermit with her. She was someone Seiga could lean on and even admire in some respects which made it all the more heartbreaking for her when Yoshika lost all of what Seiga loved about her in the resurrection.

This doesn't necessarily indicate that Seiga had any ill-will towards Yoshika. In Taoism, the path towards enlightenment is to diminish the self and become like a new-born. Seiga could think of it as doing Yoshika a favor, by removing all her worries and reverting her into childlike innocence.
Especially if Yoshika had a traumatic life, letting her brain rot might have been the surest way to make her happy.

I'm not really sure what to think of their relationship. I want to believe that Seiga feels some kind of fondness for her, after all taking care of a jiangshi >>42800048 seems like a huge pain in the ass for very little payoff.

A Kasen and Yoshika friendship is certainly a unique one that I have never seen before. I also did not expect to feel so bad for Mr. Kaku.
