To be fair, she *is* a fairy, and the mansion was something she brought with her from the isolated land she lived in. So I wouldn’t be surprised if the mansion itself was alive and somehow connected to her.

Why she is attached to it, though? Read the deleted scene, it’s simply the place she grew up, a place she considers to be sacred and a place filled with memories and emotions that reach out to her childhood memories.

Jojolion is fine. Maybe I'm making too many assumptions, but most people who say "Jojolion was disappointing" were probably people who first started reading an ongoing Jojo part at Part 8. This is pretty common since Part 8 has been ongoing for a pretty long time and most Jojo fans were people who got into the franchise through the anime adaptations. The monthly release schedule makes following the series a pain especially when so much is going on. I recommend rereading the entire thing now that it's finished, and you might change your mind.
