I've tried and failed to learn the language 4 times. Each time I drop it after a month because it's just too much.
I've tried anki, graded readers, watching anime with japanese subs, light novels, vidya but I always end up dropping it
What do I do? I don't think I'll ever gonna make it

vbijin!
try watame/okayu, they are great to listen to and have pleasant calming voices
also try hukumusume (google it), easy childrens stories
the hardest part of japanese is that you have to do it every day
the easiest way to do that is to pick an oshi or a hobby that involves japanese, so its not a slog nor a struggle
its hard for everyone at first
good luck anon

I was going to tell you that you didn't even try OP but after seeing you getting a reply from a holofag I'm going to tell you seriously that you've just gotta stick with it rather than beating yourself up over it. Progress is painfully slow but you will reach a day where everything just clicks and even if that feeling is temporary it is truly a an elating moment.

Nothing someone on the internet tells you is going to give you motivation to do something you can't even stick with for more than a month

Try signing some songs! It's a fun way to get yourself into the mode of speaking a language, practice pronunciation, and aid in understanding the structure of speaking. I've yet to make much of any progress in learning Japanese, but this the method that aided my German and made it sound more authentic.

So you watched subbed anime for a month, didn't like it, and then dropped it?

Pleb.

Just watch one of those "I can't believe it's not hentai" hyper-ecchi shows. Or Konosuba, that's a good one. I believe it was Konosuba, mitsudomoe, and panty and stocking that finally got me properly into anime.

go to Japan and then be forced to realize you have no idea what anyone is saying and couldnt communicate properly even if it was a life threatening emergency, pretty good motivator

I'm like this with programming. I drop it frequently but every time I pick it up again I learn a little more than I did before. You just need to find your rhythm.
