What I have right now is, 仕事初日に遅刻してるだけじゃなく、迷子になってしまった。 But I'm unsure of the difference in nuance between the two expressions. Is what I have written correct? Or is there something better I could use? He restarted the deck, try doing it and you'll see it's easy as well in the beginning. When you don't have to rate old cards you can just remember whichever ones you put it. The only retention rate that really matter is upon matures (which you should try to get above 80%)

I need to find a better way to mine from LNs.
I read on my ereader, and when I find a word I want to mine, I highlight the sentence (to have context), and then later on export all the highlights as HTML and mine from there with yomichan.
The problem is that this way, when I effectively "bulk" mine once a week or so, I have dozens if not 100+ sentences to read thru to mine the words from... It's really slow/annoying.
Should I stop saving the entire sentence, and just save the individual word?

yeah. if you are trying to understand what you hear, even if your mind doesn't quite grasp every word, its still giving it a shot and it has a cumulative effect over time, as long as you have some understanding, any, youll eventually build from that
from an efficiency standpoint its faster and more pleasant to go with things that are closer to your level though
but even if you didn't know any japanese, and didn't have a dictionary, if you watched enough children shows youd eventually pick up most all vocabulary from the repetition, inflection, context, etc.
you can tell what is an insult, what is a joke, what is an order, attitudes, reactions, etc instinctively
it just takes a lot longer than using a dictionary and srs

the more you can read, the less you need anki to hold on to things
