I’m a beginner around an N4/N3 level and I have noticed a flaw in how myself and other foreigners learning Japanese structure sentences.

I often start observational sentences with
これは…
…と思う
…と聞いた

To make sentences more than just basic statements, I use
ので､
ですが､
のに、

If I’m asking if someone wants to do something or is interested, I use
してみたいの？
興味がありますか？

If I want to say something with degrees of certainty or doubt I use
だろう
かもしれない

I understand that’s how these grammatical phrases are meant to be used. But I feel like beginner foreigners and myself rely on these to an extent where their usage is unnatural and limiting.

I need to study how Japanese people actually construct sentences. Does anyone else feel this way?

I had to read the doujin side by side with en translation, and watch and read stuff explaining grammar, and otherewise take it slow because some things were for some reason written in kana and there was sentence mentioning sex, but I couldn't the word with yomichan. エする could be it. There was also 惑,but there was wiki page on some budhist nonsense, so i guess it means something sinful. This way I managed to comprehend one page. Day 5: I was busier than expected and didn't get as much done as would've I liked. Final kana review went well and I've started to learn some grammar basics with ー, the small vowels, and how western words are translated into katakana (and phonetic differences). More grammar tomorrow and vocab.

Lmao imagine a Japanese person saying foreign loanwords are "wrong."

That's just how loanwords almost always are. Usually a foreign word takes on a narrower role in the new language associated with how it was introduced. "Bukkake" and "hentai" are English words, because English speaking people say them to mean a specific thing that English speakers understand.

I wouldn't expect a typical English speaker to understand that what "high tension" means, but I wouldn't say テンション is "wrong." It's a Japanese word. 和製英語, as a concept to put distance between the Japanese speaker and the loanwords he uses, is the wrong thing here.
