If you like her. She does have a reincarnation for more power but she did not get the real spellcard buffs yet. Her damage isn't anything special and her elemental coverage is pretty poor, especially since all her regular spells are single target. The one good thing she has is that she is one of those characters who gains lots of P from using spells so she can at least always boost.

For the stream tomorrow. Hard to predict what they will do this month. The big update is usually the one at the start of the new year. I doubt they will release Marisa and friends or the Prof/Mima in december. Probably more likely for this month to just be more of the random new characters from the main plot, like Kamen Rider Wriggle or Green Suika (who will be EFES of course). Hoping for SFES Baku this month who will be a top tier character and redefine the meta forever.

You know, for a debuff unit, MV Sakuya has surprisingly little debuffing. Maybe that's why she's strong
2/3 of her skills are buffs to the party.
The main point of her ST SC is the massive 5 burn autobreak.
She does have debuffs on her bullet lines, but most of it is targetting offense rather than defense.

Moko-tan seeing some use right away. The card you get is kinda weird. It does have high physical and energy damage boost with 50% but it doesn't boost any elements and instead gives 3 barriers to the user. Might have some niche uses for some characters who burn through all their shields but doesn't seem required.

So quick question but if im just starting do the starter card matter at all? im assuming the more rainbow cards I get the better they are but characters dont really matter right? if there a specific card I should aim for? Im honestly aiming for Sanae, reimu, or Reisen despite people telling me in the past and in guides that yomu is the best in the bunch.

Not really. I mean certain 5* cards are infinitely better than others, but you'll get enough of them with playtime.

You get Reimu for free and Youmu hasn't kept up well with powercreep, so go for the other two. But what you should really base your reroll on is getting a powerful character after the starting roll, like the swimsuit Marisa or sword Sakuya that's up right now. The normal versions of Sanae, Reimu, and Reisen are in the general pool anyways, so you will likely get several copies of each over time.

There's also the first time Ema that you can exchange for any general pool unit.
Regarding the cards, the Yuuka card is really good, it'll be a while until you get 5 copies since the pool is so big now, but it'll happen eventually.

Honestly you shouldn't care that much about that one. Just take your starter seal crystals and start rolling on one of the op characters that are currently on banners (I reccomend MV Sakuya as she's stronger than swimsuit Marisa) and you'll probably get the other ones along the way

Just as a heads up, fielding full teams is something that's completely unnecessary 99.9% of the time and usually not wanted.
You're expected to run stages hundreds of times, so SP efficiency can be a big deal.
After 1-2 events SP will stop being a problem unless you start farming a very expensive stage like the EX stages.

Should be <300 per stat if memory serves.
For silver incense it's 500 for HP and 100 for each stat. You'll need a total of 100 pots per stat as well.

It increases their SP cost, and you won't appreciate the stat/effect boosts until they're at level 100. Why? If you plan to give one MSM to every char with slash on their LW you need probably around 21ish cards, assuming you care about their usefulness, assuming you give them the accuracy, yin or whatever needed before LW use then:

L1 Brigade FES, Suika and she's a fucking disappointment, Momoyo seems fine, Nue and I'll probably put L80 Sakuya on her LW implying it will be exchangeable for rare event points and they will give us enough cards to MLB two copies, Miko which probably works best with OM cause she's yet another disappointment

L1 Brigade Gen Pool, Kokoro, I still use her on tower, most of those Legendary L1 units, like Sanae stalling whatever floor, Minoriko full breaking 5 floors a day etc, failed past floor 120, she's still relevant for that content, specially when coupled with Doremy, Kasen or Meiling, Koakuma, Parsee (explain me why I should ever use Reimu's card pls), Yamame, Mayumi, Chen and that's it.

Then you have units who have slash bullets on their kit, but they also require whatever shit floats your boat, and for me it's just L1 Tenshi while I use her to 4t 3-18-3, she needs 2 MSM, one WoSD, a stick and Dropping Keystone and she's gold.
PCB Youmu? Why? She's relevant only for that sissy conflux and maybe for Water EX? Outside that you just use her for events or to 1t 2-7-1 with 4 YIN STAT STICKS not Yang cause whatever shit it's wrong with balanced stat sticks that make that stupid black fairy to steal alive.

Tomorrow they will show the banners for Rumia and Music Kanako and the update at the end of the month is the new years one so it will be a major one. New to the game but are the events usually this long? Ive played other gachas but I feel like this event is dragging on I have to take breaks to stay interested. Its funny with some of the interactions like with Sanae trying to keep people happy or the whole hidden dream social club (kinda reminded me of the rehearsal with sanae practicing pleasing customers from their nightmares) but some of the other stuff beforehand makes me want to fall asleep or them keep refering the danmaku matches as battle of bullets and my brain jusr reads that as danmaku because it kinda get annoying them saying battle of the bullets all the time.

Well, yeah, thats the gist of it.

You have a few stages per day, starting friday for example, and the event goes on ntil monda or tuesday. OR, if they´re longer events, they get split for 4-5 parts, then more on the following friday, with some of it being at the EXTRA stages. Events are usually 3 weeks until the next one, or a rerun, starts. its mostly so people have enough time to grind for the shops to buy empty.

Turn 2: Toyo gains an extra crit atk boost, so I'm guessing Standing Right Behind You because it also boosts Moon damage. Yukari gains another 1.5 P so same as turn 1.
Turn 3: Party gets a barrier and only Reimu's crit def is lowered, so it's Moriya Shrine Anniversary.
Turn 4: Tropico Fantasia (all other cards that give party barrier have some sort of buff/debuff attached)

Japs are planning on reworking their character tiering system because too many characters are essentially above 10/10 with the old scores. The new Kanako is also absolutely loaded with breaks. Gonna be interesting to see if the big new year update will have characters even better than Koishi.

Usually it takes only a few weeks for them to be added, especially when it's EFES characters. Jap version has recently released quite a few new characters in a short time frame so global is a bit behind on that. Pretty global has released characters before who were still the current banner in the jap version.
