I've been studying kanji for about 6 months, so now I encounter cards that I won't see for another year. anyway, Chinese is a highly analytical (not synthetic) language
so words don't inflect into different forms to variate their meanings.
For example, English inflects for singularity vs plurality, so words have little variations according to the grammatical situation of singular vs plural. Japanese, on the other hand, is analytical when it cares to specify whether there's one or multiple of something.
Spanish inflects verbs according to who the subject is (I, you, he, she, them, etc.) so they often don't even bother to say the subject/pronoun. In english this only applies to the verb "be" (is/am/are) but all other verbs dont' change based on who the subject is so we add on another word (i.e. the subject/pronoun) to clarify the meaning.
Or english inflects pronouns (I for subject, me for object) whereas Japanese uses particles and word order to indicate if watashi is the object or subject of a sentence.
Chinese is on the far end of the analytical spectrum. Words rarely variate/have different versions of themselves, instead more words are used to clarify. It's like the opposite of Latin where you can say something relativley complex with only 3 highly inflected words.

Does anyone know a quick japanese dictionary app that lets can let me quickly look up Kanji from textractor? Something like that new DeepL app that instantly translates stuff when you highlight text and then press Ctrl+CC but with a kanji dictionary like Yomichan.

I'm making a guide on my website to playing certain games in Japanese. What would you like to see in it? It's meant to get used to user interface terminology, dissecting every single line of text at a glance with the lower grade level of understanding being hidden under the most amount of clicks/sub menus, thus being able to help people at all skill levels while also tailoring the experience to all skill levels.

This is only beneficial to dekinais who refuse to learn the language and just memorize shit like スタート and ロード so they can play import games since the localized domestic versions are too expensive in their country.

It's about being able to understand what you're consuming while having rich and compelling content that you'll remember after just reading it once because you make more connections with something in a real context, even more so when it's in the same medium targeting the same audience (video games in english vs japanese). It's meant for people who play video games A LOT and can thus naturally understand that context, even in another language without much effort. This makes things "click" easier and results in a less "mentally exhausting" (using my own words here) exercise. It's like tailored content. I find this type of content has no helping hand out there and my site is going to be that. It's not going to just be that little push, I'll be adding more games from more advanced genres like say Civilization games. Hopefully moving to 100% Japanese created and themed ones for more of a straight shot cultural immersion, like you're a Japanese kid playing a Japanese game in Japan and you know nothing else.

I'll be starting on free to play games with high quality localizations.
