Don't think it makes a difference since the rank up screen doesn't show that the equipment has been upgraded. Jewel quests drop a lot of gear, so you can use the excess from those if you want to upgrade anyway just to be safe.

Two other things I've found, although one is just speculation.
First, do the gold daily manually with as many supports and healers as you can for a high gold bonus. Skipping just gives you the default amount.
Second, and this is just a guess but I think you can hit & run in the labyrinth with minimal penalty? I tried doing the second level, and it was going to fail with almost my entire roster wiped out so I decided to just give up and run away instead of waiting for everyone in my current team to die. Except it seemed like I could send those survivors back in again? Going to do some tests on this tomorrow, hopefully I don't forget.

Hit and run works. Enemy turns reset but not damage taken and there doesn't seem to be any restrictions on sending people in other than still being alive.

just finished whacking off to Nahida yesterday, and now here comes Nightingale and Apollon. Too many lolis nowadays.

X-mas Nightingale looks great after reading over her skills. Passive talent lets her re-act with a 2 turn CD and she has a lot of versatility in how you can build her. You can lean towards support with her team-healing damage skill, re-activating ally skill and her AOE buff skill. Her DPS build with critical armor giving a lot of +crit damage and high multiplier damage skills seems very powerful as well.
Self-sustain is a bit lacking but I'm fully expecting her to be a meta character.

In Magicami is there a list to know which dresses are safe to sell for coins to buy limit break mats or which ones are good to keep? I am barely a month and half in and i am having trouble keeping track of them, too many URs that i don't know if they are viable or too many SRs that don't look that useful but may be useful for some niche reason. I know to keep useful stuff like weak dresses with utility for the tower, sinister 5 and such but i don't have enough mats to level up all of them so it would be nice to know what to focus.

Am I the only one but is the monthly/daily achiev system actually less interesting than the Fame summon was? Instead of varying rewards at different fame levels you're just getting the same plat armor every day and you can't really play around with the summon if you're only interested in the plat chibi for instance. There's no more breaks at the end of the month after you've capped out on fame either, although if you just want to do the bare minimum it's a lot easier now to do 30 stages a month and just grab the summon.

None of the Platinum heroes are really worth buying besides Primrose. However her usefulness is very dependent on having a skill cooldown reduction unit, otherwise she's mainly for a few tower floor strats. You mainly buy the rest for their budget version barracks buffs if you don't have their black version. Particularly Tuan whose Plat version gives 2% attack to all melee females. Imlau's also a consideration and has barriers albeit gimped compared to the black version. You buy the 2 black males for the sole intent of barracks buffing your Prince and possibly White Emperor if you've raised him. They're probably usable, but you'd only be using them for when ex dailies come around for the male unit gifts ex.

I just started exactly 1 month ago and Magicami doesn't have much discussion or places to discuss it neither a decent english wiki so i am kinda lost.

Make sure you run the upcoming event as much as possible. Get your quickest run on the hardest stages, skip all of your juice away then leave it on auto repeat. You'll never have to worry about general dress mats outside of quartz and limit break nonsense.

There should be daily 10-rolls coming up in roughly two weeks.
You should work your way through story. Once you get past story 2's fights, it's pretty much pure story from there on out. But story 2's fights are pretty tough. Point is, there have been nice UR tickets for finishing different stories.

Record an instance of an H-scene suddenly freezing and catbox it or something and link it here. If it's occurring on separate devices, that indicates an issue with the game itself though. The situation where it would start for a few frames then suddenly cut out however is indicative of the game either freezing it's rendering engine or having fucked animation that loads every frame as an image like a gif and cutting out in the middle of loading. There may also be situations where the H-scene is only animated for certain parts of the scene while having stills for other sections.

Turned out a lot better this time. It originally had a couple frames then ended. This one actually loops even with a brief pause. This was on mobile. Trying to do the same on PC right now, but it won't even play. I'm going to set the text to auto. The animation might not start if you skip ahead too much.

I do think most other scenes are just stills. I looked up a lot of them just to make sure since the first scene's inconsistency threw me off.

Yeah, it's probably a memory/cache issue on browser then. If the game fucks up loading an asset then it can remain fucked up since it thinks it's there, so it doesn't ever redownload it. Your two main options are to clear cache and depending on what the game uses to run on your browser, increase its memory allowance.

You have to wait for the animation asset to load whenever it starts happening, otherwise it'll skip it and not bother. Yes that means in the middle of the scene, whether or not you realize the animation should be starting.
On the PC client, I can't get any of the animated scenes to load. I have to switch to browser. If the loop is stuttering then there's probably some setting that's fucked in your browser graphics settings.

Otherwise just assume it's part of the game being a buggy mess. They've acknowledged scenes aren't animating properly on certain devices but haven't fixed it yet.

I too had problems with the animated scenes on browser, so I play on the DMM Player version. It works very well unless you pause on a scene for a long time and continue to the animated bit, that causes that weird cut loop.

She is too expensive and slow for that even with her buff being 100% unique, not to mention how shit has to actually be in range for her to buff it which can be incredibly awkward.

I've mostly been using her to buff broken units on maps where I don't even need to so I can't tell anything about how useful she actually is, but she's probably okay if you use her to protect ramping units while they ramp up and ramping them up even more with deaths. For an unit that you can just place and use her SAW she does pretty good damage (on a shit range) with pretty good survivability, but I haven't been doing any actual Majins for a while so I can't tell if she's useful on real scenarios.

Riven sucked up over 20 fodder and still cant get her damn 5 lvl skill. I hate it.

I think part of the issue is we already have two hero units that do similar things but with less hoops. You could get Luci to suicide herself 3 times over the course of 135 seconds, or you could just deploy Horteus once and have her use her skill for half the buff globally. You could also use Sanara who only buffs one unit at a time, but does so for 35% instead of just a max of 30%. Of course all of these stack so I guess you could use more than one, but that's besides the point.

What does everyone use their RC for in aigis? I was using them to buy onyx fairies before I was able to clear events to get them. Now that I can comfortably do that, I was thinking about getting the cost reduction and skill up hero fairies, but I'm not sure what's considered a noob trap or not in the shop. The "legend summon" only has a 10-15% chance of being a black according to the wiki, seems like a waste of RC. I'm sitting on 3400 atm. All of the units seem pretty bad.

If you're talking about the early pick tickets that can select from retired blacks, then Altair is the best long term investment while Moltena is the best early game carry. Altair being a constant cost generator while Moltena is a Beast Tamer who has token summons that can clear most low end content. Rinne is also a popular pick being an AoE healer with stealth. Nanaly and Rion scale extremely well with the gold Chef who buffs archers as well for very strong DPS early game. Dina and Dine are tank picks that have strong AoE SAWs. There are a lot of considerations depending on what you think your squad needs.

Christmas Gabriel isn’t a magic focused support. She boosts skill damage by 5% and gives a +25% damage dealt buff when at 100% health. So usable with magic soldiers but also with all soldiers.
Anastasia has almost the same exact kit as Christmas Arthur so yeah not worth rolling if you already have her. The main difference is that Anastasia’s symbol skill gives crit buffs while Arthur’s boosts damage.
Although, Anastasia probably has a higher DPS because her passive juices up her magic and crit whereas Arthur gives her additional survivability.

Mainly selling for rainbow crystals. Also, skill up and cost reduction by using it as fodder on the same unit. Skill up is relatively trivial however cost reduction might be worth it depending on your supply of bonded fairies and Fleurs. You cannot use dupes on Majins or tower, so there's very little point to raising dupes. The game auto gives you a dupe of any black unit when you AW2 them in case you ever want to take the other path. There are extremely few units you would ever consider raising a dupe of due to the no dupes on Majin/tower thing however.

By the way, if a platinum/black unit gives 3/7 Rainbow Crystals when selling it, then it's a welfare. The reason you get so many dupes of them is because they were meant to be grinded for the skill leveling and cost reduction thing as they have 10 skill levels instead of 5 and can be cost reduced 5 times instead of 3.
