It exists, though. I can do it right now if I wanted too. The Gensokyo map is on Planet Minecraft and I've tried it out myself. The Human Village looked really nice and it was larger than expected. The Scarlet Devil mansion was huge. Definitely very impressed with it. The underground hell area looked menacing with lava everywhere. I went all around the map adding 2hus where they belonged. It was super fun just exploring it.

This is what the map of Gensokyo looks in Minecraft btw. It doesn't have labels but you can tell what buildings are supposed to represent what in Gensokyo. The large river on the left is the Sanzu river. The large lake in the middle is the Misty Lake. Below the lake is the Scarlet Devil Mansion. Above the lake is the Forest of Magic. To the left of the lake is the Youkai Mountain. To the right we see the abandoned Prismriver mansion. The red, orange and yellow spots in the bottom left represent the Youkai Forest and above the Youkai Forest, on the peak of the youkai mountain, we can see the Moriya Shrine. In the bottom right we can see Mayohiga. Both the Human Village and the Myouren Temple are on the top left. Going through the Bamboo Forest of the Lost we eventually come to Eientei, located in the far east.

Overall, a really fun map.

The Youkai Mountain is supposed to be slightly larger than Mount Fuji, and it got into Gensokyo by having been destroyed out of jealousy by the goddess of Mount Fuji in real-world mythology, making the mountain itself a thing of legend known to us in the outside world as Yatsugatake. Yatsugatake IS the Youkai mountain, as that was the mountain's former name.

A Fuji-sized mountain is pretty large, meaning it's probably the dominant geographical feature in Gensokyo, and Fuji has a geographical land area (only including the main rise of the mountain) of about 400 square km, which, as a circle, would have a 22-km diameter. Alongside that, you have some forests, fields, gardens, a village, a lake, and a lot of foothills that are consistently featured (like how Yuuka's Garden of the Sun is stated, in PMiSS, to be across a small mountain from the Human Village but still in the heart of Gensokyo), so the other geographical features probably add a few kilometers to the radius of Gensokyo. If it's 30 km across, that's like a 6-hour walk if you go directly across with no turning or winding or any hills. That's still pretty small by a lot of standards, though; it would fit into the Nagoya metropolitan area more than ten times over.

The size of Gensokyo might also be a bit arbitrary, we know the Moriya and Scarlets basically warped into Gensokyo with their buildings and stuff. The Sanzu isn't really even part of Gensokyo but it crosses over into it. The land of the dead can be reached by a door in the dky. The lunar capital (basically the whole of the fantastical moon) is in the same "space" as Gensokyo and so on
If it wasn't for ZUN's reluctance to warp in entire landmarks for incidents instead of going to hell/the moon you could realistically just "extend" gensokyo with new lands in your own fanworks too. I reckon that would be common if touhou eventually became lovecraft-like or public domain in its legacy

Maps covering "all of 2hu" really have to pay mind to Former Hell, honestly. Animal Realm might be a part of hell but even here they forego the Hell of Blazing Fires (SA), the Blood Pools (17.5) and I'm pretty sure other places connected to Gensokyo like Makai aren't even touched on in that image.
Someone just needs to draw a proper encyclopedic image. Not an artsy one, but a "drawn in pixel graphics for each area" one with a larger general purpose map.

I don't know why the posts mentioning it got deleted but the Gensokyo Minecraft map is by far one of the best depictions of Gensokyo I've seen to date. The amount of work that went into getting every detail right is astounding. That's not even mentioning the Lunar Capital map and Netherworld map which are technically separate from Gensokyo but are just as good nonetheless.

Honestly the misty lake should probably be much bigger, the SDM smaller as well. Village should also be bigger but I think the two largest natural landmarks in Gensokyo are the lake and youkai mountain, not much else should really hold a candle to them aside from old hell, but hell is a bunch of different locations.

Well, just the main building of the palace of Versaillies is about as big as the village I live in. When you take into account the gardens, that whole estate could fit my village in about 8 times over so if the human village is compact and houses no more than a 1000 or so people Remi's mansion could feasibly be bigger. Still, the dissappearance of an estate of such magnitude from the outside world would probably have been noticed.

The Misty lake should be several times bigger though and all the landmarks look a bit too close together in this map in general.

I think Gensokyo is much larger in general than just that. In the lore, Yatsugatake/Youkai Mountain is much smaller in the real world, while in Gensokyo it's bigger than Mt. Fuji (and evidently goes above the clouds and into heaven)
I remember when I was looking at the maps, I thought a believable size for Gensokyo might be like 50km across.
