Actually there is nothing worth crying over in Tsukihime, neither Arc's ending, Akiha's or even Hisui's for that matter. Some are quite emotional but they lack the little "something" to push you over the edge.

The true ends were all BAWWWWWWWWworthy. The good ends are just to satisfy faggots who can't handle a real ending where someone dies or someone's life is changed for good. The exception to this is Hisui's good end, which made me tear up.

Although I like Akiha's route the best, each route has something unique to offer and make it interesting.

It's more probable that someone is an anti-fanboy of the character (like Ciel) rather than not liking the route.

Hisui's only really higher on the list because you have to play hers to get to Kohaku, so by then you already know a lot of the important plot points.
