I re-read Geccha from plus disk today and noticed something interesting. In the demo (Arc route, day 10) a bunch of the Dead show up in Arc's hotel for no apparent reason, but Geccha reveals that Ciel summoned them with necromancy (she has access to it as a "daughter" of Roa). Can she do it in the remake? Not like she needs it with all the other power ups but still..

Rider keeps getting thicker and thicker with every adaptation. And her pupils should look more rectangular and weird, the impression I got from the VN was that even if her eyes didn't petrify her gaze would be too uncanny to hold contact with for long.

Illya actually looks like her ancestors in this shot, kinda nice. And Shirou looks fine, too. Saber is just there as an afterthought (and because you gotta have her on a poster), which I guess fits her role.

F/SN is the most plot-centric of the group imo and I'd argue it's really strong and well done with lots of twists along the way. I'd say Mahoyo is more like hanging around with a close tight-knit, group of friends as its main appeal.

I tried to compare the remake tracks to the original and Ever After versions. From what I can hear, remake 1, 3, 4, 6, 9 are all based on the originals, 7 is based on Ever After is the original THAT bad? and 2 has an entirely different feel to it because the violin is replaced with a flute. Tracks 5, 8, 10 are not in the remake at all (I think 5 is the H-scenes track, 10 is the credits track and I don't remember when 8 was used).
So I wonder, are there any interviews about the music in particular? I really would like to know why the team decided against remixing Ever After versions.

Tsukurimonoji, FSN and Mahou Tsukai’s scripter, went full otaku over Demon’s Souls. They were chatting on the phone about how good Demon’s Souls was and that’s when Nasu decided it’d be alright to have online elements in FGO.

Also thank fuck there's a slider for the window opacity in Mahoyo. The first think I did was make it entirely transparent. Tsukihime so badly needed one. Even slightly dark backgrounds were turned pitch black.
