Not with the knowledge we have now.

...Beatrice.
Listen carefully.
I will turn over my love for Battler to you.
Become the woman Battler desires.

I will give you the blonde hair he desires.
I will give you the blue eyes he desires.
I will give you the new personality he desires.
And... In place of me, love him.
And if possible, be loved by him.

I can no longer love him.
The feelings I could not obtain...the feelings I could not bear...please obtain them.

From this day forward, you are no longer the phantom of Rokkenjima who only plays tricks.
From this day forward, you are the ruler of Rokkenjima, and the one who waits for him to return until he fulfills his promise.

From this day forward, you will inherit that in my place.
Thus, from this day forward, you are no longer me.

I will push all of my suffering on to you... Please forgive me for being the only one to become happy.

From this day forward, you have the qualifications to detest everything.
You are the Golden Witch, Beatrice.

And someday.
Destroy everything, revive everything.
...Bless all lovers.

At that time.
...For both you and I to find happiness together...I will be wishing for from the bottom of my heart.

From this day on, you are not me.
From this day on, I am not you.
We will divide one soul, and share.
That naturally won't fill up one soul, but. (? not 100% sure about this line)
Surely it will allow (us/you/me? no subject defined) to see more dreams than a person.
May we be blessed...
My cute Beatrice...

That's just the name for it. If you'd prefer, you could call it the Delusional DID theory. It basically says that the various personalities (Beatrice, Kanon, Shannon) are "summoned"/"created" like the Stakes by Ange and Sakutarou by Maria, with the exception being that they're created within the person who creates them, and assuming that person originally had a slightly different personality, the original personality disappeared or became dormant. In the case of Eva, she "created" the witch within her when she was younger, and kept her original personality.

In the same sense that I can tell you that it is impossible for someone with 2 broken legs to run a marathon.
It's simply that way, you can't invent features to an illness just because you think it might be possible.

At least the other ShKanontricefriends have the decency to say
"It's a work of fiction, written by the master of bullshit himself, wo who cares about real facts"
and I can't argue with that, but I won't believe someone who is trying to tell me that it is a perfectly scientifical explantion.

>> No.4163720

>>4163688
Seems way too stupid and lengthy to be the answer, in addition to the fact that alternate personas are only brought up once, by Jessica.
I can buy Shannon = Kanon = Beatrice if I must, but I don't buy the fact that they are three seperate personas who are unaware of each other.
Also, Evatrice is just Eva's ambitions and insecurity at work, not a seperate entity.

>> No.4163770

EVAtrice can simply be a personification of Eva's greed, there is absolutly no reason to explain everything with "DID".

>> No.4163759

>>4163720
> I can buy Shannon = Kanon = Beatrice if I must, but I don't buy the fact that they are three seperate personas who are unaware of each other.
That's not what >>4163688 says, though. In that theory, the personas can interact with each other just fine, because they're constructs created by the original. An addendum to the theory could be said to be that the reason they're able to coexist like that is because they each acknowledge the existence of the others within the body they share; that mutual acknowledgment is what allows them to exist. When one persona's existence is no longer recognized by the other two and/or by the original, it effectively dies.

(As an aside, the idea of there having been a fourth, original personality is based on the fact that Shannon is indeed stated to act differently than she had in the past.)

Oh hey there, Beato.

In fact, in Episode 3 Virgilia states that the difference between Beatrice and EVA-Beatrice is that Evatrice is fine remaining as a witch on the gameboard, while Beatrice is not. This implies a similiarity between them, though said similarity does not necessarily exist.

Beatrice is a lot harder to explain than EVAtrice.
EVAtrice as the greed (or whatever emotion) that drives Eva mad.
It is heavily implied that Eva is the murderer in ep3 (EVAtrice commits the murders, after all).
Even if she isn't the culprit, she still goes mad before her family dies.

Later Ange discovers that the same emotion that drove Eva mad is also possessing Kasumi.

Something like that.

>> No.4163846

>>4163821
Dude, Eva is not the main culprit in episode 3, obvious red herring is obvious.
She has dead eyes at the end and shoots Battler because her husband and son had just snuffed it, and she values them the most. Pin it on Kyrie and Moon-chan's shenanigans, don't pin it on the person who is fuckobvious to a fault.

Pretty much everything stated in Episode 3 regarding Beatrice, magic, and the game was actually true. It's just that the ending of the Episode made everybody dismiss the things said as trolling, when in fact Beatrice's aim is flat-out stated in the Episode. Really, the entire reason Beatrice had to do what she did at the end of Episode 3 was because Battler was even more incompetent than she thought he was.

>>4163807
The reason Ange perceived the "black witch" as Eva/EVA-Beatrice was because she herself still had some residual hatred towards Eva.

Her family might die in the crossfire, Eva camp vs. Kyrie camp, who knows.

Just how many camps do we have?
I understand the Kyrie camp, I understand the Jessica camp, but Eva having her own camp?
I doubt it. I could see Hideyoshi being involved, maybe, but Eva I think is just a haughty but well meaning and well intentioned woman caught in a shit situation. I mean, she found all the gold in episode 3, she shouldn't have any problems or motivation to kill. Fuck, Jessica flips a shit about her randomly, making me think that Eva getting the gold caused the SNAFU to be even more messed up.

Basically, I think Eva is good, the episode in which one can point to her being the killer comes out with a blank in terms of motivation, and she most likely was incredibly UNLUCKY, moreso than usual, in finding the gold, as it messed up the usual suspects plans.
