Call me crazy, but I believe users can change if you reason with them. I sent KoGs a few tl;dr post about how I felt about him in the weeks leading up to his retirement. 1. Making this thread was a mistake. Trolls are by nature attention whores; giving them attention is not going to make them stop. In fact, it will go to their heads and make their tiny penises harder. Continuing to age this thread instead of deleting it is just compounding on that mistake.

2. Simply by watching their behavior, your cute little growth diagram is clearly wrong. Nameless Fairy and Faery are the same script, probably both run by their author (AoRF). It posts random images and opens with issue.jpg. Jones' script (which posts as Anonymous usually) is similar in function, posting random images, but doesn't issue.jpg. Nameless Pharaoh, the "this thread sucks" bot, and the "look at that baka" bot are all the same simple directory dumper, which posts a sequence of images from the user's hard drive. There are plenty of those to be found on the Internet, but the most popular one, still in use by Sion, is xChan Directory Dumper. So yeah, these are actually quite easy to tell apart if you watch their habits.

Here's why you're wrong. With the exception of KoGs, Jones and AoRF are NOT trolls. If you heard their arguments on the ghost board, both of them tried to justify their use of imagespam scripts under the guise of defending /jp/'s culture. I'm simply arguing that they're causing more harm than good. It might actually be possible to reason with them. If I recall correctly Eksopl once said he used to use Nameless Fairy to derail KoGs' faggotry back when KoGs first came to /jp/. Ironically, now KoGs is using image spam to derail anything he doesn't agree with. KoGs has retired from making GET threads so it might be possible to convince him to stop imagebombing. I was being serious when I said KoGs could be a respected user around here if he changed his behavior.

The diagram was only added to show how behavior is a form of mitosis. The trend of derailing threads with images started with AoRF and was then copied by KoGs and Jones. Also, I'm very much aware of the scripts/software that is used to hijack threads. But referring to them as scripts is more convenient.
