It's a possibility but Archetype's true nature is still kinda mysterious, and she seems different. In that she is stated to be the brain and soul of the planet, which is also equated with 原型 (archetype) different from her title but likely related (which is just the English word ‘archetype’ written in katakana).
The Types from Notes on the other hand seemed to only be the strongest species on their planet that took on the will of that planet but there is not much to suggest they are the soul of the planet themselves. Which is why it's possible Archetype is a greater category than a Type and closer to the root of all creation (hence the celestial egg being stated to be the proof of eternity) than just the strongest species of a planet.

There's literally part in her route where Shiki admits that anyone could have saved her, anyone could have gotten to latch onto her the same way, she's curious about humanity so anyone could have shown her the same things, which is an important scene because its meant to talk about human nature and shit, because even if anyone could have done it, Shiki doesn't want to give that to someone else. Like, Shiki realizes he's not actually special, but that doesn't mean he'd be willing to give what he got to anyone else even if anyone else could get the same result. A lot of Shiki's character is about how its alright to be selfish and its alright to decide for yourself what you want to do in life, just because its incorrect or just because someone tells you something doesn't mean you have to listen. Akiha tells him not to sneak out every night, and Shiki later that night goes into monologues about how its up to him whether he wants to accept that rule or not, so he can do what he wants. Its your own life, so you can decide for yourself which things you want to follow or not.

Shiki is a pretty blank character but he does have some odd or interesting rants about idealism, which I'm half sure are just Nasu going off about shit he believes and using Shiki as an outlet to do it.

For reference if the sun itself collapsed to 10^-35 meters or planck length, meaning a planck star, it would retain its mass yet its size would be as big as an atom. The volume of energy stated to be compressed in that scene was around 200 meters.
Literally you could have quadrillions of solar masses in terms of energy and it would still be less than a speck compared to the energy ARC has in that scene, it won't even come close even.

She was the first route I followed in the original Tsukihime and I did enjoy her for what she was, though in retrospective she probably has the weakest route in the entire game, even Kohaku whose route was rushed out in two weeks had a better one.
She feels like Takeuchi and Nasu were REALLY into Hellsing at the time and just wanted to put an Alexander Anderson-like character.

I'll never understand Ciel route haters. It was good as fuck, even if a bit cliche. Easily third best after Akiha and Hisui. Delusional to believe a route with so much schizokino and great fights the worst one. Way more thematically fitting than Arc's anyway.
And speaking of her - Arc's route is the one where not only nothing happens, there's shit tons of boring exposition. It's literally a dogshit twilight for men and that's both the best and the worst thing I can say about it.

I don't really agree desu. The Roa vs Ciel standoff is surprisingly pretty lame and basically the only memorable part is the guro bait. It picks up when the writing gets schizo with Shiki, but otherwise I far prefer OG Arc's route.

Arcrueid - massive downgrade, she's just red-eyed Jeanne now, I also want my bordeaux-colored granny-skirt back
Ciel - massive downgrade, she's just blue haired Mashu with glasses now.
Akiha - slight downgrade, she herself looks fine but her outfit is way worse.
Kohaku - about as good as the original
Hisui - upgrade, it makes sense that she's the only one to look better since Takeuchi basically spend the last 19 years drawing her clone and clones of her clone.
Satsuki - downgrade - her twintails looked way better back then
Arihiko - downgrade, he looks like a fucking clown,
Shiki - massive downgrade, how could they approve this? He's just modern Shirou / Gudao with glasses now.
the real shiki looked like he could hold his own in a fight, and like he's been in a couple. Remake shiki looks like he belongs in a boy band.

Nasu retconned the powerlevels of the DAAs and is now making them a bullshit level threat on the scope of FGO powerlevels; this is something that I believe Nasu has been trying to outdo this aspect in recent works and it just doesn't sit well with me; I didn't enjoy FSN because of the massive threat that some servants represented to the world or how powerful they were, but because of the personal struggles that Shirou had to deal with in any of the routes, the final fight with Kirei in HF being the best example. On a similar note, I also really don't like that Roa is now a worthless jobber while some other OC donut steel edgelord takes the mantle of the big bad guy in the remake, shit doesn't sit well with me since him or SHIKI was the main source of trouble in most if not all of the routes the original Tsuki.
