Which guide tho? While I followed Itazuraneko, its not bad, I do feel that its not for everybody, and its not a matter of which is right, but fits better to each person.
One doesn't exclude to the other either. And resources are useful for anyone regardless. I've been fishing good links dropped itt here and there, saving on my own bin for reference (and so I don't end up with a fucking mess of tabs in my browser). And I don't why there isn't something like that in OP already.

Ok samefag here, but fun story that this brought me memories.
So indeed there are a ton of Nisei here, even though most are in São Paulo, there a few I know on my city.
Several years ago I dated one, very attractive nisei, jap father and huezillian mother, smol, slim with beautiful oppai. Turns out nip+brazillian produces some very top tier off spring, Maria Ozawa I think is half hue as well that comes to mind.
Her father was very restrictive, but growing up in Brazil, specially an urban area, is bound to take you to a more delinquent path. So she was in her twenties already an mother. I met her working on a weird part time, and very suddenly we started sneaking in to building's stair case, I remember having to hide from the "father of her child".

I assume you mean bunpo? anyways all that's fine as long as you are grinding new shit all the time. Pretty much once you can get to the point of being able to read and watch super basic kid shit things will pick up real quick at least that's what happened for me. Singing also was a massive boosts for me being able to remember but that's a big autistic.

The only other thing to consider if you aren't already doing it is your own Anki decks not just for vocab but for all sorts of language/culture knowledge that you encounter outside of all your other structured lessons, apps etc.

For example one of my first personal Anki cards was the difference between on'yomi and kun'yomi.

All "Core" Anki decks are based on newspapers from early 90s and sometimes additionally sorted in a way that makes learning harder. The cards format also tends to be WCC instead of a more efficient TSC. Ankidrone Starter Pack is made from a COMPLETELY different corpus, everyday words used commonly in Japan. It depends where you're reading it, in games it saves space to just reuse already compressed characters rather than adding a kanji that might only be used once or twice. In media aimed at younger readers they tend to use kanji less often as well. I can't think of another reason immediately.

Downloaded the grammar pack off the OP linked guide, how the fuck am I meant to be reading this? It's confusing me. Is it telling me that "だ” is the reading for the kanji in the first half of the card? And that, that kanji means "Expressing State-of-Being: Declaring something is so and so using"?
