Guys, lets come up with some theory that is not ShKanontrice. I've unfortunately been spoiled on some parts of Ep. 6, thanks to people who don't know what spoilers are, so I think this works with that information.

Kanon is Erika. This clears up the red text, perhaps, in Episode 6. It has been hinted at before; in Episode 1 Kanon shows us that he wishes to be the hero. Japan has talked about that theory before. And Jessica does talk to him about creating a different personality. He is also a small enough build, and young enough, to fit into Jessica's younger clothes, although I'm not sure if that is said anywhere. [\spoiler]

I hate spoiling threads.....

it ruins umineko for me!

That is... quite the wacky theory.

Wrong OP

Kanon is clearly everyone on the island, all at the exact same time

>> No.4100913

Erika is the metaphoric representation of Kinzo's late wife. She doesn't believe in love because she thinks her husband is cheating on her. She tries to find evidence of this but fails to and dies. She also tried to force a marriage with her husband but in the heart his still belonged to Beatrice.

Wrong, OP.

Kanon, Erika, and Battler, 3 bodies, entered and exited in the room. (red)

In red. Kanon can't be Erika, nor can he be Battler.

Ah, so that's what that part was about. (At least the cheating part, not the kinzo's wife part) The machine translation had me confused on that part.

I don't think that anon's interpretation is clearly stated, but it certainly is a very good interpretation. It makes sense.

The funny thing is that Erika quotes one of the poems in Bernkastel's Letter, that TIP that was released around Episode 3, I think?

Seconded. Even though it is a japanese/fantasy-oriented mystery novel, I doubt that R07, having mentioned rules proper of the golden age of mystery, would fuck up with shit like that.

I don't exactly remember the red truth at the end of EP6 that Beatrice trolls Erika with. Something like "Kanon entered the room" and "Kanon was never in the room". And I understand this brought back the Shkanon theory, as that was one way to explain how he could come rescue Battler and there's still that red truth

I propose this. It doesn't exactly support Shkanon, but I'm just sharing it with you all anyway.
Either Shannon or Kanon (or both) keep the other as a split personality.
So for instance, Shannon has Kanon as her split personality (or whatever the appropriate mental disorder is called). But that's -her- Kanon, not the actual one walking around the place.
The fantasy explanation to this could be that as furniture they were made to be "linked", somewhat like they did in EP4. So if one dies, the other's soul will be with the other.

>> No.4101100

That seems like a fairly magical explanation, don't know if want.

>> No.4101131

Kanon = Beatrice would explain a lot. Why he is almost always the one to meet people prior or after they "meet" Beatrice, he interacts with the people about Beatrice the most, and is the only one who thinks of her as a rival of sorts.

>> No.4101158

I'm leaving now. Some food for thought.
If you were to choose ANYONE without an alibi (confirmed by the detective) in any given murder, regardless of character or compelling motifs, how would you execute the murders without getting spotted? You may count on accomplices.
This method of reasoning is obvious for some. But try giving the murders an angle aside from being an observer.
Night, ol' chaps.

Battler only interacts with Beatrice in episode 4 and in episode 2 when he's drunk out of his mind.

Kanon interacts with Beatrice in episodes 1, 2, 3.
