Tsuki R is surprisingly pretty fucking raw sometimes. Like Shiki does feel up and lick Arc's boobs in that one scene. Japanese censorship rarely makes any sense though so it's hard to predict.

The problem with a sequel is that really Nasu has not done a true sequel to either Fate or Tsukihime, at most there's fan discs or spinoffs by guest writers. They usually follow the copout of "aschually they follow a vague unseen route where the mc is sort kinda following and dating the main heroine but also all the other heroines routes are canon and happened but they still around." It's getting so tiresome that I have no faith in him to not resort to it. Tsukihime, has 5 heroines and routes with multiple endings who branch off wildly from each other. So in trying please everyone he will please no one and we'll just keep going in circles and get more of that annoying flanderisation everyone receives after the original entry al la the old timeline for Tsukihime and especially for the Fate characters.

Yeah, but Tsukihime always seemed a little different. It's not like Fate where you can just swap out spirits, grail wars and shit. A lot of the key figures in the setting are one off characters related to the underlying principles of the world. They can definitely expand the church in spinoffs and other content but the big questions, the big issues with DAA, CM etc are pretty much linked to the main cast. Even more so now since the most likely future pope is probably Mario who either ends up as Shiki's benefactor, has some relationship with Arc and the Church's Bow whose seemingly the vampire specialist given her record. It's just a lot more interconnected I think. He even had a line about getting in good with the Tohno since they'll be a good source of funding in the future I believe. I get what your guys point is though. It just seems like if he ever does do a proper sequel, it's gonna be this. Mostly because it feels like less of a sequel and more of the later half of the same story.

I didn't like original route at all, but I do think it is important for Kohaku to be this kind of character and everything being connected only between four characters - Shiki, Akiha, Hisui and Kohaku.
Otherwise it wouldn't feel like fucked up family drama behind isolated mansion.
