But more likely Parsee is a (very female) character without any particular connections and no relation to Yuugi whatsoever besides being in the same game and in roughly the same geographic region in said game. The only other one I've seen - from a little known anime - came in the shape of an elderly lady with a wheelchair. Not that Touhou is known for sticking to folklore, but that's a pretty big leap from Parsee.
Not even sure whether hashihime are classic mythical creatures or a recent addition.
