Anyway, the episode barely managed to keep my attention. I spent the first 45 minutes or so browsing the net while watching it, then the last 10 minutes got a little more interesting because she was actually interacting with customers there. It seems a cute Aya with glasses does not make a good episode.

After actually reading some of the things she does in these screenshots, I started to wonder just how boring it might be. Book cover folding (say wha..!?), sorting books and telling people not to take photos, yeah not very fun sounding.

But I'll reserve final judgment until I can watch it.

I enjoyed the episode even though it felt much more staged than the Lotteria gig. She certainly seemed to enjoy working in a bookstore though, her enthusiasm at the start was really surprising.
Now, the wait begins for a Soapland or Kyabakura employee episode. Speaking of which, I was saddened when I found out she was only going to be a desk clerk in Ryuu ga Gotoku 4, one of the club girls would've been awesome.

Woah, I didn't know about that. That she is going to be in the game at all makes me happy. All the more reason to buy the localized version of Yakuza 3 in March, so that they might localize the fourth one as well.

Definitely, I had a ton of fun with the RgG3 demo (check it out if you have a JP PSN-ID) but ultimately passed on importing because of the often difficult language. I'll be importing 4 though, it just looks too good to wait for.

I already did and I liked it a lot. The combat felt a bit clunky at times, but I can get used to that. I was disappointed in the selection of hostesses in the demo though, because I couldn't stand either of them. But there seem to be a lot more girls in the full game and they are customizable as well, which is great.
Anyway, March looks like it's going to be expensive. This, FFXIII, GoW 3 and Heavy Rain. Thankfully my semester break starts at the end of February, so time won't be an issue, but I better start saving up some money right now.

I wasn't even aware until recently that those are going to be available this year. If I had known, I would've waited a while before getting a new HDTV after my old one died. But now I'm more than happy with the one I have, except for the fact that is has a terrible internal scaler (and it really shows in games like Valkyria Chronicles in which all the thin black outlines on the characters/objects end up looking horrible).

I actually haven't turned on my 360 since I got the PS3. The triple is just so nice and quiet, and there haven't really been any good 360 exclusives released lately (I'm not a big fan of FPSs, so I don't count ODST) and 2010 doesn't look that great for it either. Although I am kind of interested in Splinter Cell: Conviction and Alan Wake, but it seems both of them will eventually be available on PC.

I have the 360 version of RE5, but I didn't like it that much. Though I have to add that I don't have XBL Gold and never touched any of the multiplayer aspects of RE5, so I had to do stuff like micromanaging Sheva's inventory all the time, which may have hampered my overall perception of the game. Still, the DLC will just be more of the same, so I'm going to pass on that.

If any game needs a PC release, it's that one (the performance is terrible on the 360), but that's pretty unlikely. Game looks fucking awesome though, love the atmosphere.

Sometimes I get the feeling I'm the only guy who liked the game... I've played through both the PS3 and PC versions multiple times.

I guess most people had pretty high expectations after seeing how RE4 was such a huge step forward for the franchise in terms of gameplay. But in the end, RE5 was RE4 with shinier graphics, forced co-op and the same flaws. That's at least how I felt about it.

I've been trying to come up with something Aya related, but I can't think of anything, as usual. I saw a torrent of what looked like a new single today, but it turned out to be a Character Song CD for some anime so I didn't bother downloading it.
