i used grabber to get everything under the hatsune_miku tag on konachan a while ago.
4700 files on rotation. i just changed it so the image constrains to the window, so the random resolutions don't matter. black bars don't bother me + never looking at desktop anyway.

you'll soon get sick of low transition times like every 15 mins, etc. i set my wallpaper to shuffle only once every 24 hours. the reason is because windows is a fat turd and doesn't use the original file, it transcodes it to JPG and copies it to the windows directory. so every time it's told to shuffle the wallpaper, it grabs a new one and transcodes it, causing a lag spike on the entire shell upwards, and will cause frame drops in my games.

the best part is i have three monitors, when it cycles wallpapers, it only cycles it on one monitor, then when it's time to shuffle it'll change the second one, and then the third. does the same behavior when you right click desktop and manually shuffle the wallpaper.

Wotaku (of Dogma, Mafia, and Shanti fame) is one of my favourite newer voca-P, but he feels like a very weird producer for me.
His music is either very good: voicebank's not set at too high keys, the time signature isn't messed up, catchy tunes, creative uses of sounds. He somehow made Kaito rap in Zero Sum and it's goddamn cool, what the hell? But other times his music is just... doesn't feel like someone with such extensive discography on his belt is making (refer to: Planetarium, Desktop Idol, and the most recent release: Dolphin Kick) You can see how his music is either more than 4 millions or a mere 100k views.

It gets me to the point that if his new song isn't trap/house/bass boosted stuff where he can go ham on the gunshots and EY samples, I won't even bother checking it out.

Protip: There are certain hours where you can watch nico videos in their highest resolution. Based in my test case, they're usually available starting from 2 AM (Japan time ofc) and lasting for about 4-6 hours.

The video codec used by Nico (which is your typical AVC/H264 aka MP4) is pretty outdated to be honest, but sometimes YouTube's VP9 codec can butcher your video pretty badly (and their MP4 is even worse than Nico's), so yeah, unless AV1 videos are available, there are times where I prefer Nico uploads than YT.
Oh, and I also prefer Nico's audio than YouTube. They might cut the top frequencies, but the sound is still more superior than 128kbps VBR Opus used by YT.

They're not vocaloids, but fan made ones that got so popular they became officially recognised.
Neru is supposed to represent "trolling" and Haku is supposed to represent failed Miku songs iirc.
Neru is often depicted as a tsundere and Haku as a depressed alcoholic.
Neru songs are just Miku songs pitched up, Haku songs are Miku pitched down.
