All of the Stage 4 & onward characters are a little too important to just throw & do nothing with, Mike doesn't really have much to drive a story & is actually pretty tied to the cards in 18, and Takane has this to a lesser extent but its moreso her status as Yamawaro leader that makes her kind of a big deal.
Never let the fans' impressions dictate your thoughts on who will or won't make it in the various works.

I doubt they'd raise a fuss if someone was involved with someone who was mainly human except sometimes, and I'd imaine there's be at least one instance of someone in a relationship getting cursed and continuing to be together. Fairies are probably literally onaholes should they be captured in the village. If it was a zashiki-warashi, it might be looked down upon as mistreating them. Ghosts blowjobs would probably be a no-no. I'm sure most people would expect the situation to be some youkai abducts a human and does stuff, not the other way around.

I think it's both. A headcanon of mine is that Yukari doesn't touch people that believe in major religions because she doesn't want to bring the wrath of god or allah down on Gensokyo. Try and remember that Hecatia is leagues above everybody in Gensokyo and she has only a few million followers nowadays. The Judeo Christian god would basically be on a entirely different level from not just her, but everybody in Gensokyo just because of how much faith he gets even assuming protestant's and Catholics have a different deity.

PMISS lore is really debatably canon though. Then again, there isn't much evidence that Keine is mistreated or people don't know she's a were creature.

I think Suika is the friendliest a youkai can get. She even does things like eat toxic beans so that the human villagers don't get sick. She's probably the only youkai who actually cares about individual human villagers, even if she'd be annoyed hearing that. She's also one of the few youkai who Reimu seems to treat as an outright friend.
I still wouldn't want to make her mad.

It's a little amusing to me that the oni seem to be some be some of the friendliest youkai to humans overall. Yuugi's the only one who sort of lives up to the idea of a wild, ferocious oni besides Kasen's arm, but even she seems more fun-loving than aggressive. Might be dangerous to party with her, though.

Even Youkai often keep them around for a while to grill them for information as well as sexual intercourse before getting bored of them and eating them.

If the weapon had an "origin" (basically, it was recognised and had some age to it - belief) you might have a chance, but in general since youkai are spiritual beings, physical weapons are nigh useless. You're better off with secretly arming the villagers with knowledge (your most vital asset, as youkai are mainly constructed from human fear - belief).

Guns would be useful for killing the big youkai exterminators (Reimu first, then everyone else) before they can react, as they are responsible for enforcing the status quo in Gensokyo - where they act as heroes, keeping the humans disarmed and dependent on them while ensuring youkai don't run out of their fear supply which would stem from eating humans. Their deaths, combined with revealing the truth could spark a deadly revolution where Gensokyo could never recover from, as humans would not just refuse the youkai, they would see to eradicate 99% them. This would also have a knock on effect of the intelligent youkai species surrendering negotiating for peace, which you can use as a vital asset for more conquering (looking at Heaven and Lunar Capital).

According to ending text and omake text Suika is just different from the original myth as she refuses to kidnap humans.

Given that she's a leader and the massacre of mount ooe wasn't the massacre of yatsugatake I've always figured it was something she was involved with in touhou canon, but not responsible for instigating. Like in the myth a bunch of girls were being kidnapped but it was only an important politician's daughter being kidnapped that sparked a journey to deal with it, and in the first place it's not said that Shuten directly handled the kidnapping.

I hope Miyoi becomes more relevant to the plot again...
