After reading through the works of a lot of VN authors I've come to acknowledge this. Nasu really is on top of his game when it comes to writing endings. He's okayish at his worst and amazing at his best. I can't really hate any of the endings he wrote. On the other hand the dogshit taste left behind by the endings of Umineko and Higurashi still lingers on my mouth to this day.
Doubly so for Umineko since it had such a strong start.

Umineko is surely a special kind of bad though. I haven't read it myself yet, but if you look at EGS, most of the positive reviews said that they read the manga for the ending. I agree that Nasu is way better than most VN writers when it comes to endings regardless. A lot of them aren't good at epilogues.

yeah, RO7 is really bad at writing endings from what I've read. Both Higurashi and Umineko have disappointed me with their endings and their leaps in logic for the former especially. Nasu usually delivers with his ending and making his works come together in the end with good foreshadowing from the start. The way Rin's pendant comes back in the end of HF is fucking brilliant.

Now, I can't read moonrunes, *but*, unless something directly states that the descendants of the atificial TYPE-Moon (grandma) are clones, this is just a big leap in logic, as, more than all, I doubt the girl ilustrated in this image is the storyteller, given that she does not match the official ilustration of neither girl in the cover of Tsuki no Sango (pic related.)
