That scene is one of the greatest in the remake. That violation scene is just so good. It drives home the mixing of lust and violence, the overwhelming impulse to prey on her as Nanaya and the despair and hopelessness should he give in. Even when his love for her overcomes instinct and mystic eyes, it's still so heavy and leaves the reader feeling as broken as Shiki. The way she disappears afterwards, blaming herself. SHIKI was an antagonist in the OG VN with 0 screen time in the remake. Its much more understandable IMO since his best moment was only a brief (albeit Kino) interaction in the final route. Meanwhile the Remake's protagonist is far behind a character that had maybe 5-10 minutes of screen time.
