the reason i requested this is because i am thinking of makeing a Touhou RPG staring a new youkai or human character exploring gensokyo and i was gonna use RPG maker VX and i needed a good map to base it on

As for locations, all I know is: The shrine is at the eastern edge. The forest of magic is nearby and contains Marisa's and Alice's houses. Kourindou is at the edge of the forest toward the village, which isn't too far from Kourindou but isn't real close either. The youkai mountain is not near the shrine, since Reimu complains about it being out in the middle of nowhere. All the other shit is "somewhere".

Check the wiki for each place, there might be a hint here and there. Otherwise, make it up.

To add onto that, I believe Mayohiga is also in the Forest of Magic. Playing the games could also give you clues as well, for example, we know that from EotSD, there's a lake surrounding most of the SDM, with a small path leading up to it's main gates.
