They way I've understood it, the only real common "ideology" that exist in Gensoukyo is "everyone for themselves".

Examples;
If you are dumb you die
If you are weak you die
If you are lazy you die
etc

This applies to all, be it humans, youkai, animals etc. Reimu as well. I agree that she's a bitch, but hell, it WORKS.

If anything I consider this kind of ideology very non-racist/speciesist. Since it doesn't work depending on WHAT you are but what you DO with what you are.
