Well, it would seem Mushihime-sama Futari didn't sell as expected so Cave didn't see the reason to all their other games region-free. Bummer.

But they don't lose anything by making them region free, at all. They have no intention of releasing them outside Japan, and they don't have to do anything except change a tiny bit of pre-determined code to make it region-free.

Only reason it's region locked is that Cave are cunts.

It's no wonder Futari sold poorly, it looks like shit on an LCD in comparison to DS. Get yourself a CRT and it becomes miles better.
