It's 100% more useful per character read to look up everything. But once you factor in the different reading speeds, it depends on the person. If you're only looking up very few things, it probably gives you big gainz for little time spent. You also have to take into account how much you can understand without looking stuff up. If you "read" something without looking stuff up but without understanding shit, it will me close to useless. So either you're already good enough that lookups aren't much of a time investment, or you're so bad not looking stuff up means you understand nothing. Unless you're in the middle, in which case, maybe it's a good idea.
