There was a tease implied that there will be a story mode update. Also a big patch before round 3 in September. Probably announced during the July USA stream and a tease for the summer characters.

Man. That was really good. I'm really satisfied with what I experienced over these few dozen hours. That sudden reveal of a "route" for Shiki at the very end as a type of proper epilogue with a real sense of finality was appreciated and something I did not expect.
I don't really know how I'd rank the arcs, but maybe something like Arc > Akiha > Maids (feels wrong to separate the two) > Ciel. I dunno. I literally just finished it.

I suppose my immediate question is where do I go from here? I know there's both Melty Blood and Kagetsu Tooya - KT is an actual VN so my assumption is that's the correct direction to proceed in, but Melty Blood seems to have a more coherent plot...? Are either of them really proper, traditional sequels or more like side-content?

It's also the case that there's no definitive, complete english translation of Mahoutsukai no Yoru, is there? That is frankly what I'm most interested in reading after that final epilogue, but there's not a huge amount I could do to achieve that short of learning japanese if there's no english translation. Is there an active translation effort? I see a few projects that've been abandoned over the years.

Either way, looking forward to the partial patch release of the Tsukihime remake. The changes look rather substantial and I dislike Arcs new design compared to her original one, but I'm still excited for it.
