Last thread I talked about having two light carriers, Hiyou and Junyou and how they were both game changers. But now, I've just obtained Akagi. Haven't used her yet, but I can only image what's it like to have a proper carrier on my fleet, or how taxing it is on my resources. I don't know what to expect, but damn do I love this game.

From my understanding, the bug wasn't that (the amount of bauxite lost did depend on planes lost), but rather the bauxite count not being updated until you went back to the home screen. And back then the game didn't show you the amount of bauxite you had to replenish, which didn't help matters.

And before you point out that you can see what you equipped them with, that doesn't mean they also can. They have absolutely no idea what you've done with their equipment, other than you did something. It doesn't have a unique touch modifier, but I think people use that because of the generic secondary+AP synergy, and maybe for AACI if they don't have any other units set up for that.

What I do not know is the other reward for B182. Radar is out since I already have 2 of them after the event. And I figure I want a dupe Musashi KN eventually anyway which would give me 3, I don't think I'll need 4 f them.
The other 2 rewards are eventually acquirable via Akashi. Afaict the 46cm Kai doesn't actually have any special bonuses, and I'll have enough 51cm main guns for Yamatosushi by then. Though I doubt I'll be doing E5H so only a single proto triple if that matters. 2 proto 51 twins and 1 51 cm currently.
Otoh, the secondaries does not seem to have any special bonuses or uses so they seem even more pointless while the 46 kai could be used for other BBs.

You can craft the new 15.5cm secondary and 51cm twin, and you can also generate the latter by remodeling Musashi. The new 10cm secondary is unobtainable outside of quests, which makes it seem like the best choice for the first quest when you need at least two to complete Yamato's AACI loadout.

For the second quest, the radar can likewise be generated by Musashi and likewise not a huge contender. The secondaries cost about twice as many screws as the one 46cm kai, and this quest is the only way you can get them upgraded right now, but secondaries are rarely used already and these aren't all that much better than OTOs. The 46cm kai is useful for extending Nelson's range and just as a general purpose gun since its damage usually outweighs the accuracy penalties even on non-fit ships. It's the most useful choice you can make here, especially if you haven't made a 46cm kai on your own already.

I have the three CLTs (no dupes) available, this doesn't seem like a good map for them since there is only one surface battle before the boss and they have no bonus.
Route is GIJKLWXY, which is annoying but not more than I would expect for E3 last part.
Sometimes there's like 2 enemy planes who survive the AACI and I still get taiha, but hey.
The problem is I need more damage at the boss node, I should be doing much better but neither the LBAS nor the ships manage to set up the kind of situation where I can kill the boss at night.
Colorado touches but it's a pretty weak touch, so I guess Nagato and Mutsu will have to go there, at least I'll skip one raid.

AA on route and the rest of the boss fleet is otherwise incredibly weak. Iwai or Suisei Egusa will always survive on 12+ slots, while planes with weak AA resistance will always survive on 16+ slots. Running a CVL as a dealer here is completely viable.

Zkms using Ise is kinda understandable since assisting with air power and such, but I'm confused on why kiton uses Nelsol without the rest of the fleet being set for a Touch.

Every kyouhyouteki you bring is an extra chance to cancel out an enemy otorp or reduce the escort fleet so your main fleet can focus on the enemy main during second shelling, especially since second main shelling happens before escort shelling for STF

For how unexpectedly difficult medium is that was anti-climatic, Green T and Yamato Touch 2 shots the boss.
It was for the best and I'm thankful because I didn't get a clean clear. CV Hime was taihaed and the Pacific thing was still yellow. And all my NB ships cut-in too with all baring one at green so it's definitely rougher than I would like.

Every so often there's DMM events that give free points, and there's some permanent DMM quests that give a few. The current DMM event only has a few days left on it, and points are for logging in each day. If you catch these when they start you can get slots for less than half the usual price.
