Something that's not being said here:
The knock on her door happened at the end of the previous stream.
She opened this new stream by getting her roommate to say hello to prove it's a girl, but she could've easily just have gotten one of her friends to come over and do this between then and now.
She said she needed management permission, but the above clip just seems reactionary and performative on their part. It also doesn't make a lot of sense. If her roommate went to go to the bathroom, then why did she knock on Laplus' door or the bathroom door if she knew Laplus was streaming? I guess it's possible she wasn't paying attention and thought someone might be in the bathroom if the door was closed, but that's assuming quite a lot.

And more importantly, before this, Laplus said that she lives completely alone. In fact, Laplus' "roommate" even said "I'm finally living alone again" in one of her fanbox posts back in August of last year. So she must have gotten a roommate when she moved during the past couple months, but I'm trying to figure out why she never said anything about it because she has to know that being honest about their living situation is crucial to avoiding misunderstandings in case something like this happens. I'm also surprised that none of the others in Gen 6 mentioned her at all even though they have been to Laplus' place several times in the past.

Something just seems off about all this, but I suppose it'll become more or less suspicious with time. Laplus will probably mention her from now on if she's telling the truth and they're actually living together. I just hope this is the truth for her own sake because people are definitely going to be looking for any inconsistensies in what she says from now on.
