As I see it, there are two kinds of pieces on the board. The first are humans, and this group is (apparently) composed of every character introduced in the first game, and no one else. The exceptions for the first game. are Kinzo and Beatrice. Whenever an Island count Red Text is given, this is the number we're looking for.

The second are the Witch's Pieces, which include all the harems and furniture, the piece versions of beato, ronove, ect, and most importantly, Kinzo. Anyone that is not a human is a piece used to maintain the illusion of the witch. Kinzo, for example was a Witch Piece imitating a human.

Now, in Episode 5, we see a pretty big deterioration of the game's barriers between what's real and what's fake. Accepting Shkannon in the face of episode 5 is built on the idea that everything we see can be doubted. And, of course, in Kinzo's study, Piece Battler sees the witches battle going on while he argues things out with Erika.

Now, with all of this in mind, what is that that convinces me that Erika is real? I propose that she, herself, is a witches illusion. A fictional character.

It seems to me that red truth is something that applies to the current game (when not specifically stated otherwise), while gold truth is something that happens in every game, one of the "rules" defining the games. Are there any gold truths in Ep6 to confirm or deny this?

When you see Shannon and Kanon in the same room as Erika at the start of EP5, it is from Battler's point of view, which has proven to be full of lies in that game.

2ND point seems somewhat natural, if they only ever knew each other as furniture, they may have agreed to never see each other after they leave the mansion.

Finally, remember, Shkannon also survives on not trusting large chunks of what we see. A large amount of episode 5 as we understand it fails to make sense if this is true.

In short, it's possible that we could be explicitly mislead by Episode 6. Hell, we know we're being mislead by something. So why not this? Because it's too late? I've already provided a turn that all of this could be used for--a misdirection from Erika's inevitable breakdown.


Of course, debating something I havn't read has it's limits. EP5 taught me that things make a lot more sense in context.
