Too many series have gone down that route, building up a girl to be aggressive and independent only to have her forced into a situation where she has to rely on the man to save her while she plays damsel as if just to say FUCK YOU for daring to be like that.

That's the routine in tsundere romance nowadays.

1.Either girl is a bitch to begin with, or some some weird event takes place which makes her hate the mc.
