Jessica and Shannon are shit tier, despite being easily able to make awesome. Nearly everything points to no living Beatrice, and Kyrietrice is far too obvious at this point.

"With the 2nd part, the two Beatos are creations Battler made. The first one was accidentally created - he attempted to revive Beatrice, rather than create a new one, but he messed up and created a very moe Beato with no memories. He basically flipped out when he found out she wasn't Beatrice.

His love for Beatrice is slowly heading towards Kinzo insanity and I'm very worried for what Ryukishi is planning to do with his character. 1) Battler's sin - It seems to be he broke a promise to Beatrice, six years earlier on Rokkenjima of course. What was happening around then? Asumu's death. I think it's likely he somehow met her on the island during a visit and promised he would come back to see her, or something to that tune, but when Asumu died he forgot his promise and went to live with his grandparents, not returning for six years and forgetting he had ever met her in that time.

I believe the context of that is "Piece Beatrice" is talking to the painting of Beatrice, and saying something akin to wishing she could forgot Battler and place her love to him elsewhere. My Japanese sucks, and ATLAS didn't help much either.

This obviously means piece Beato is not actually Beato, it is whoever is the person masquerading as her on the gameboard. Following this, like with Rika and Bernkastel, perhaps meta Beatrice is the culmination of all those feelings that person had towards Battler, given self awareness.

We don't know. It was said in this EP that, including Erika, there are 17 people in this island. So, who knows? I'd say chances are Beatrice is Shannon, or someone else amongst the original 16.

There are other things that don't make much sense, like the Author thing. For example, how can she know about Natsuhi's past? Or Rosa meeting Beatrice back in the late 70s? Or, say, the Siestas, which other than weapons in Rokkenjima, are also quite likely based on some toys of Maria's which the Author shouldn't have any knowledge of. Or many other details about the lives of the characters? Those things were not mentioned or even hinted in the first two episodes. Even saying that the first two episodes were written by some person is a bit odd considering this person should have known the people in Rokkenjima very well. Personally, this is quite a big plot hole, unless R07 fixes it later. He should have stuck to the multiple-realities deal.

But, well, let us see how things unfold.
