I played a lot of fighting games & other multiplayer genres alone so I find my marks in Phantasmagoria titles, down to the restrictive playstyle by an AI that ignores any & all attempt at offense. I hear it, I don't defend it, but it's never bothered me.
I appreciate PoDD's simplicity, down to the setting & the wish plot device, which I find is a convenient, but fun way to get some insight into a character's motivations, or at least a good joke. Love everything about PoDD. The thrills of being cornered by Chiyuri's diagonal lasers while trying to stream her Level 2/3 gauge attacks is quite something.

I do really like PCB's boss fights. The controls are just a little slippery for the series. It's still in my top 5, though.

I think DDC has some wonderfully creative spells, and the PoC system feels really rewarding. It's just the game I have the most fun with. SA has incredible music and fun bosses, and MoF has a great atmosphere to it.

I can't even pick 5 because playing every game after IN hurts my eyes and gives me headaches. All the bright colors make them an eyesore.
I wanted to try the PC98 games but the emulator lagged a lot.
