When it came to studying Katakana I completely skipped over it. I'm around N4 level and I've been reading shonen manga to improve my Japanese and I've got a good understanding. But whenever it comes to Katakana my brain stops. It just halts, which is embarrassing cos I'm doing really well on my Kanji and have memorised a lot of kanji, when it's not katakana my reading is fluid but when it comes to Katakana like a retard I have to sound out each sylbal.
