In general it's good to make the eyes one eye apart. Also, the bottom of the cylinder (barrel) should be round in the top.

OP here. Going to take a break for a few weeks and do absolutely nothing but grind fundamentals and actual resources. I'll come back when I have a sturdier foundation. I've made minuscule improvement over the past 3 months, but I haven't been going as hard as I could have, or putting in the work where I should have. While I might not ever be a professional, but the least I can do is give it my all. Thanks for the kindness, /jp/. I hope I can draw 2hus for you again in the future.

do a drawing every few days inbetween fundies, so you actually get a chance to apply the things you're grinding

Just because your drawings are not perfect does not make them bad. That's part of what makes artists artists. They learn from previous mistakes and add on to them in their next drawing. Don't become discouraged by that and keep learning those fundies and yoy're sure to be a great artist
