For those who have finished all of Ep 5, what does /jp/ think of the potential of Battler being Beato's son? It was what came to mind for the connection between them after mentioning the "Without love, you cannot see it" bit and thinking back throughout the previous episodes with that in mind.

Erika is Natsuhi's long lost son. I called it.

And now, I cannot unsee it.

yes, Beatrice is Battler's mom, she's also Jessica, and Gohda.

I don't buy the Beatrice is Battler's mom bit. That'd be really awkward.

Most likely something I wouldn't doubt.

>Beatrice, Kinzo mistress's, has a baby with any of his sons. Probably Rudolf.
>Beatrice gives birth to said baby in 1967.
>In the same year, Beatrice meets Rosa.
>Beatrice dies in 1967.
>Kinzo decides to leave this child to Natsuhi.
>Natsuhi, disturbed by this incident, "kills" both the servant and the child.
>Child survives.

After that, I have no clues how things sorted out to be the way they are, but it's not a bad theory, I guess.

We already know she's batshit, plus Ange and Rosa want to bed him, he's no stranger to incest.

... hmm. Thing is, the only 'Beatrice' who could qualify died a year before Battler was supposedly born. Now maybe she was pregnant, and Kinzo had her body kept alive until the baby could be concieved, but nothing about Rosa's encounter with Beatrice gave me the impression that Beato was aware she was pregnant. Or that she had a child previously.

This would also disqualify Battler from Beatrice's game, since she 'Started this game to fight with Ushiromiya's grandson Ushiromiya Battler'. /red Not 'Kinzo's son Ushiromiya Battler'.The only person who could have impregnated Beatrice was Kinzo after all...

>> No.4001655

Given that Battler has a birth secret, combined with him announcing he was the baby that Natsuhi abandoned, it has at least some plausability. It just depends where things stand in line with when Beato died to Rosa.

I like it, simply because /a/ would ragequit VNs in general and probably kill themselves.

I really doubt that. Kinzo would probably kill Rudolph with his own hands, not reward Rudolph by giving him the child after his own miscarries or dies.

Ange: It's not blood! It's bonds!

Battler can state that Asumu was his mother, he just can't state that he was born from her. Similarly, Ange can call him her brother.

>>4001694

That's true. But the possibilities there are endless. If Asumu's baby died or miscarried, and Rudolph accepted an adopted child from Kinzo (the same baby Natsuhi tried to kill perhaps?), or sneakily manipulated things to make think Kyrie had the miscarrage and Asumu gave birth, Kyrie would probably not be amused. She would be upset that Rudolph followed through with marrying Asumu even though her child died too, and if he stole her son and made her believe it was dead, well...

Maybe Rudolph adopted Battler, and knew Kinzo favored Battler and wanted him to inherit the house over the blood relatives. Both Rudolph and Battler's lives would be in danger.

Or maybe there is a factor we haven't thought of.

>> No.4001744

Gimme some light on this, please.

There are, by default, 19 people in Rokkenjima on the 5th game.
We know Kinzo is dead in the beginning of ALL games.
This lowers the number of people to 18.
However, it is mentioned by Beatrice in red that:

# Kinzo is already dead at the starting time for all games!
# Before now, I have proclaimed that no more than 18 humans exist on this island.
# I will lower that by one for Kinzo!!
# No more than 17 humans exist on this island!!
# That excludes any 18th person.
# In short, this 18th person X does not exist!!
# This applies to all games!!!

So, what now guys? Doesn't this makes impossible for Erika to exist?

Erika's arrival changed the conditions. The rule is 18 people now. She never made it to the island in the previous games, so her arrival in this one doesn't change the other games any.
