I think his body would try to regenerate but he would die due to the swords going nuts with the regeneration, like when he dies early on in the route in one of the bad ends where Rider kicks him out of the school's second floor and he dies, not due to the fall, but due to the swords causing severe internal bleeding in his body. He's kind of like Nemesis from Resident Evil 3 if you played that game, he can regenerate practically any wound but there's no guarantee that the regeneration factor won't fuck up into something weird if the wounds are too severe.

My issue is more with how straight her back is with a bent neck like that. That must be very uncomfortable for her. All the other versions of that CG improve greatly on her physique by bending her back a bit so her posture looks more natural.

However, I also like the inclusion of a blush there. It kinda indicates that Rin is a bit embarrassed to ask that question but nonetheless does it because Shirou is even more embarrassed as a a result of it. The exclision of the blush in the adaptations makes her look extremely confident. And she is, but she also kinda insecure and scared on the inside. I feel a bit more at ease now with the voice actors for Mahoyo after watching the PV, I was expecting Soujuurou's voice to be a bit higher but I think I'll get used to it. The delivery on Aoko's last line was spot on and Alice's singing was surprisingly passable for a japanese person. December can't come soon enough.

It’s literally her character from the VN.
The first arc of Mahoyo follows her as Alice begins to press her about taking the final plunge into magus mentality and getting used to killing people. We see her anxiousness as she is trying to just get it done (in swinging seven days), and again at chapter three, when we see how she acts before and after the fight with Touko’s puppets, feeling very affected over the fact she killed someone until she realized they weren’t people.
Then in chapter 4, when she is thinking of a way to kill Soujuurou, she looks herself in the mirror and realizes that was the type of person she was becoming, someone heartless and cruel, accepting that that was the path ahead she tried to laugh it off, but couldn’t help the hollow feeling.
In chapter 5 where she messed up the surprise attack and hideout and missed *all* her shots until Aoko puppet showed up (not saying she missed them on purpose, rather, that her anxiety, beliefs and mental state led her to that result.), and decided to help Soujuurou after he helped her.
In the Touko fight, she stops when Soujuurou stops her, reminding her, “murder is wrong.”

I’m digressing, but the point is, Mahoyo 1 followed Aoko as she tried to make peace with the person she was becoming, and had to be, for the life she accepted and chose. We see her anxiety and loathing, and finally at the end, when she decides to let Touko go with a curse.
The fight was over, she could beat Touko senseless any time, and the situation could end and not be repeated with a curse, so why kill?
There are moments when the fucker is only going down with a kill, when the part of her that had become a magus would simply follow through, but if that didn’t need to happen, then why do?

To put it simply, it’s the birth of “sensei” Aoko and her ideologies as she teaches them to Shiki.
Not to use the eyes frivolously, but not to “never use the eyes”. Life is not something you’re meant to ignore and take frivolously, so you shouldn’t end it lightly, but at the same time, when the time comes, use the eyes to save yourself and those important to you.
Live a life being true to yourself, not lying to yourself by trying to be a monster. Live by those ideals of yours, so you won’t ever regret your actions in the future.

Tl;dr: Mahoyo is Aoko learning to deal with that magus darkness while still retaining and being a somewhat moral person, and these posts are acting if this was rocket science.

Reading Tsukihime for the first time, I am going to sperg here.

I like Arc but her route is very plain to me. Even though it's my first time reading it, I feel like I've read it 100 times. I'm much more interested in Akiha and the maids both as characters and routes. Arc feels very disconnected from everything else, which isn't bad persay, but I dislike that she's the first route you're supposed to do because I'm just itching to do Akiha's. I don't like her and Shiki's dynamic simply because I think she's too good for him. I wish I could just force Shiki to be a good brother to Akiha after leaving her alone for so long instead of fucking around with some vampire chick. Incest for the win.
I also wish the red haired lady from the beginning had ss'd Shiki, I really liked her character and design. I know she's from some other past work of the creator's so I'll probably read that next.
Ciel is nice and I like higurashi so I hope her route will be alright.
