Have LWs that are of the type that gets ignored by one or both of the fairies. This way you don't pop them prematurely allowing for more LW spam.
Sex Flan's LW is energy type, so it doesn't get ignored and will hit both fairies. So the play is to set it up so she LWs last, killing one fairy and breaking the other. Then setting up that sequence again.
Mecha Marisa doesn't get piercing bullets until P2, so as long as you don't boost it too far she will only do damage to Marisa for example.

All the retros are kind of like this. I think it's to avoid having them be too similar to the usual one in-game. The humans have more leeway, but I think it's hard to depict the older characters having gone change in between their canon incidents and this one.

It just a pet peeve really. I don't hate them. It's just that I understand giving each version a character gimmick. EoSD Marisa and Reimu being insecure and clumsy is rather charming to see, but the limited voice lines expressed more than just that. Marisa still had pep and Reimu had determinism. IN Reisen is also cool going full ham on her spell cards lines reflecting how people originally saw Reisen before future works toned her down.

SFES Junko and PCB Yukari on the other hand simply got drenched into one big lame gimmick and they happen to be some of my favorites characters so I just found that really lame. At least their vanilla versions are cool.

At least loli Yukari seems that she will be more natural to her character thanks to story mode.

Kinda depends on if it is 8p Tenshi or 12p Tenshi. 12p Tenshi can just slap on Dark Youmu cards on her single target spells and basically go in as long as she has 1 turn of set-up with a Red Marisa card on her AoE spell on turn 1. That way she has needs 1 turn less set-up for 100% success rate. I personally use 8p Cake for that stage but I don't know if global has her yet.

She is also another one of those characters who does not have a perfect story card yet because her LW is Star/Moon and fluid type. There are almost no cards that even boost fluid damage, with 35% being the most. Kinda remains to be seen how much damage she can really do in the end. Not sure if all that evasion is ever gonna matter for anything.

Her design is “old-fashioned”. Mediocre support, skills, and anomalies. But she has excellent element breaking, a more front-loaded set which is rare these days, and excellent damage with a ton of scaling. Her damage gets even better with a proper story card and crit support. Will easily give her the #3 spot in damage output.

I mean, there's a reason that archetype isn't common anymore and most modern units come with some sort of party buff/enemy debuff. Having three attackers that can buff each other makes it easier to reach max damage versus three selfish attackers who need to exhaust their spellcards instead. Hell, Kaguya technically does have party buffs, they're just not damage related besides agility. If they ever introduce bullets that scale with crit/evasion somehow, she'd be great.

Pure damage is probably the easiest thing to powercreep. Having good buffs is much more future-proof, since you can at least buff the next powercreep damage unit.

The items you need to limit break stats and the stat materials themselves. You don't need the max amount of points to buy the most important stuff so you can max out some battles and then low ball others or mix things up. The game has a super long table showing how many points you get for each possible total score. I have more than the max points you even get each week becaue the game handed out points for other stuff at some point. I think it takes 200 total score to buy all the limit break items so people can always get that at least even if they do not have many good characters. If you have some favourites you want to power up you could also try just hard enough to buy the mats for their main attack stats and ignore the other stuff. Also even though it might look like it, you can bring any type of character into any battle. They just won't get any stat boosts if they are not the character type listed in the battle challenge so if there is some shitty tank/healer battle you can still just have Flan in there to kill stuff.

This is one of the cheaper gacha games funnily enough. Not only does this game have 10000 different packs in all price ranges and with all mats/costume combinations but the most expensive pack you can buy is a bit over 70 bucks converted over here. Compared to Genshin Impact where the most expensive pack for 50 rolls is over 100 bucks and Genshin Impact doesn't have any items that can be used as substitution for dupes so powering up a character to the max could take over 500 rolls if you are unlucky, not even counting weapons you might want.

It depends on how you see things, since Genshit for all of its downs has a pretty fair system in that literally every single character is good for all but the absolute most endgame of endgame content barring a few characters who are just objectively bad, and with no real need to max out characters or even get good weapons beyond clearing stuff faster due to most events temporarily giving you built-up meta characters in the first place. Whereas here or in Granblue (arguably the most generous gacha AFAIK) you're up shit creek without a paddle if you don't have specific characters, though it's better than Granblue where they constantly have endgame events that are tailored specifically to certain characters or content that becomes nigh-impossible if one of your raid-buddies doesn't have specific debuffers who allow you to skip phases.

Basically just imagine trying to clear any Lunatic content when the best breaker you have is the old lumberjack hag, Ran as your DPS and Dai-chan as your only support character. The game is absolutely great with giving out freebie uncaps and I'm thankful for that but in terms of raw cost we don't get the rawest of deals, but its still a bit undercooked.

All you need to know about Genshin Impact is that the game is so stingy with free stuff that you do not even gain the resources for a single roll each day even if you have the monthly pack and that their first anniversary event was probably the worst any gacha game ever had. Lost Word spamming super limited characters on anniversary sure sucks but at least you also get stuff from 100 log-in or ingame events.

The only characters who have any of the new reincarnation features so far are Reimu, Marisa, Sanae, Sakuya, Reisen and Youmu. So maybe Alice will get a serious facelift, who knows. We have the ultra-optimal card for her LW, so if she gets the Sanae treatment she might be really good.

Marisa also got her LW buffed but not as extreme as Sanae. She also get minor 5% increases to some passives. But then again, Marisa also doesn't need an entire team to babysit her if she wants to use her LW. Reisen got her Discarder spell buffed, which has to be done to each of them individually which is why the jap version has those silly colours around spells, so that you can tell them apart. Sakuya only gets minor buffs to some of her skills, none to her spells at all. Reimu gets slayers on the first bullets of her regular shots and 5% on her damage reduction passive. I am not kidding when I am saying that you can only upgrade what the devs want you to upgrade. It is the most random stuff.

If I had to rank the benefits each character got it woud go: Sanae > Marisa > Udongein > Reimu > Sakuya > Youmu. Anyone who gets their LW buffed will benefit greatly while everyone else ranges from meh to why even bother tier. Every time they buff a passive skill it is always by 5% which you will never notice at all.
