Mate, this is literally solvable by making everyone a virgin by default with the only exception being characters confirmed to have offspring. The fact that people have to pick and choose who is and isn't is a problem in itself. There's even an option to choose whether Satono and Mai are still virgins or if they lost everything because they were raped. None of the options are transparent about your choice in the matter so it's better to not cross that line to begin with and have everyone at a baseline.

If anyone's not content with something in the game works, I would strongly recommend just opening the files and changing it yourself. I do it all the time. Things like changing character defaults or removing dialogue lines take barely a few minutes. You don't have to be a coding genius to do it. For example, if you want to make a character a virgin by default, just open their file in CSV/Chara, and add the line "素質,処女,1" to it somewhere. I didn't actually know how to do that until I wrote this post. It took like 2 minutes to figure it out by just comparing the files for a default virgin and a default non-virgin.

Expecting developers to make sweeping changes for everyone just because a minority don't like something is just delusional. Yes, it would be possible to make it a configurable option, but no one gets paid to make era games so it's entirely up to the developers to decide whether they feel like doing it or not. Rather than complaining to someone who has no stake in your game experience, it's a way better use of your time to learn how to customize it yourself.

Yes, but they're complaining about the extra flavor text in the character's in-game description that indicates it's not the default. I haven't tested it, but most likely if you directly change the character files, that would go away. Alternatively, they could just find that line in the game files with a simple search and edit it to be the usual virgin text.

The virgin default thing was just an example anyway, in general this game is way easier to edit than people take it for. For example, I play with Bypass Stable Period enabled because I want to bang girls whether they're pregnant or not. But it doesn't enable the girls to choose penetration actions themselves if they have the initiative. I didn't like that, so I spent 10 minutes finding where that logic was handled and commented out like a dozen lines of code. Now Yuuka milks me dry whether she's pregnant or not.

yeah, just go to the command and find anything that says DOWNBASE:MASTER:体力 and DOWNBASE:MASTER:気力 and change the number to how much stamina/energy you want that action to consume. you can also change how much it would cost whatever girl might be doing that action with you by changing MASTER to TARGET.

It's not that much of a stretch to give every character a blank slate. It literally avoids any potential issues that might arise and has no con to it other than a personal preference for dialogue to match traits they were given which sometimes doesn't even match them as a character.

I have argued one point, and people are throwing fits about it being a case of purityfagging when it can be solved with a few line edits. Compared to anything else, it's not even that drastic. You're confusing headcanon with canon. If Yuugi were a blank slate, all you'd have to do is just not alter the H stats. Give her 0s across the board. Simple. Nobody is asking you to rewrite her as a character since it's already a large part of her character.
Her with being with one or many previous partners is not. It's headcanon. It has no reason to exist in the game if it's going to cause issues.

Believe it or not, some players enjoy discovering each character's individual flavor, not controlling every bit of the game. Making all characters a blank slate eliminates that possibility of discovery. At that point, it's not even Touhous anymore, it's just random characters with Touhou sprites.

I translated Mamizou, and I can tell you she has more lines regarding her deceased husband than just that one. It's based on her actual legend, so it's not a trivial part of her character.

For all you say about thinking about others' perspectives, I don't think you've fully considered the effects of your solution on others. I stand by my opinion that the best choice is to change it on your end, yourself. If you really want to make that available to other players, you can upload the branch to git and maintain it yourself. But I'm against permanently removing dialogue lines for everyone just because some people might not like it.

Wanna edit characters? Type any CSV value you want to change, for example to make someone virgin type TALENT:NUM:0 = 1, where NUM is the character number which corresponds to character CSV number from CSV folder (Type MASTER for your player character, TARGET for someone you're interacting with), and 0 is the CSV value of a talent, 0 usually is female virginity in Talent.csv. You can also use CSV strings attached to the value, so instead of 0 you can also type TALENT:NUM:処女
Just don't actually type NUM since it's not a valid value.
The value that the var equals to usually works as boolean, where 0 means false and 1 true, but it depends on the game and the value. You gotta have CSV folder with its files open as a reference.
Same could be done, again, with any CSV value. STA can be increased with MAXBASE:NUM:0 = 9999 and then BASE:NUM:0 = MAXBASE:NUM:0 to make the current STA value equal to its max.
Console works almost like Emuera's code interpreter, so 0 for variable can be sometimes omitted. Same with NUM, for which you can also assign your current training target with TARGET (typically in training games). Moreover, you can omit TARGET and just type TALENT:0 which will automatically assume that you're referring to the target (that depends on a certain config, but that's how it usually is).
You can omit both by just typing BASE which will return 0 base (Usually STA) from base.csv of a target character.
There's some more: ASSI is the assistant number and PLAYER is the current player character, which is swapped when you swap master with assistant during training (again, this is typical to classic training era games).
Typing anything without editing the var will return its current value (Like just typing MONEY). Typing something in parenthesis will check if it's true, like (MASTER == YOU && YOU == FAG).
You can do any Emuera calculation there with integers and strings (Like MONEY = MONEY + (RAND:99 * RAND(3,6)) / 3 % 2), test out the statement you wanna use, return values of flags and etc, and many many more. The only thing you can't really do is to call functions from there unless they return value with RETURNF.
So I guess that's all. Just test it out on your own now.
